S. W.Great place to dine. Even popped in a few times just for their ginger shots on the way to work. Amazing food, the steak, calamari, chips, breakfasts and more!!! Awesome atmosphere. Like a quaint cafe in Italy!! You are amazing!!!

C. B.Great Indoor and outdoor space but it gets busy! People love this spot, so come early for breakfast or lunch. The staff is fantastic— friendly and offers great service. The food was really fresh and tasty. The hot chocolate comes sweetened so ask for no sugar if you like your hot chocolate without sugar (like me). Overall, a very enjoyable experience with friends.

A. F.Tashas is always so lovely and it has a reputation for being slightly expensive, but that's truly because you pay for quality and the quality at Tashas is amazing. The service here is very, very quick, even if it's busy. There is a good variety of food including breakfasts, sandwiches, pastas, cakes, etc. The cocktails are very yummy. The decor of the restaurant itself is so beautiful to look at and there are small touches like recipe books on the shelves which make it even more welcoming, while still being very classy and professional. It's great for any slightly special occasion. Give it a try.

R. V.The shop decor and overall feel is really something special. So much effort and thought went into the design. Our waitress was friendly but either she was not particularly interested in serving us. Or she was just not on the ball today. I placed an order for creamed avo on toast. She then offered me a selection of white,brown or rye. To which I replied rye. When the order came it was on white. I politely asked her what was on my plate hoping she would notice the mistake. My wife had to firmly say that I asked for rye before she seem to realize. There was no issue with exchanging the order. How ever when the plate came I was issued with a new set of cutlery. Well i think my photo will explain it best. It was a great meal. In a great place but the way the service made us feel left much to be desired.

The atmosphere and decor are welcoming and it's always a treat going here.

The signature menu for Menlyn has a great eastern/mediterranean feel to it.

The food was so good I could order another dish. The burger was nice and cheesy, the lemon chicken was soft and flavourful, the line fish was superb with a great variety of flavours. This place is so good I had to call the manager just to let him know what an amazing place he is running.

R. M.I take zero pleasure in giving Tashas Menlyn a mediocre review, because I have had great experiences there before. But on this occassion, I need to warn other patrons not to order the deep fried hake.
On the day I ordered this, the weather was rainy and cold. I was looking for something hot and healthy. I couldnt find any warm bowls or comfort food, aside from maybe the pasta menu. I think there was lamb on the menu, but a bit pricey for lunch.
Settled on butternut soup and a less than healthy option of deep fried hake pops. I was sick for a day vomiting. Not sure what went into the soup, but the deep fried hake definitely contributed to my feeling sick.
It would be good if tashas Menlyn considered adding healthier hot alternatives rather than deep frying.
A. v. d. W.I want to give 5stars allround but personally found that i did not like 2 minor aspects. And i say personally once again... We placed a drink order which included a normal coke and a coke zero. Being in the same price class, i would've expected to get the same in respect of quantity but the coke was the smaller 240 ml. Secondly i would expect, on ordering something like a quesadilla for the price asked, i would have expected something like chips or salad and a little more creamy Avo. This did not affect the absolutely great experience i had and the friendly and efficient service we received. It must also be noted that our waiter, and i apologetically dont remember his name, never made us feel uncomfortable or hovered unnecessarily. I wish i remembered his name and will supply date and time or details of sitting could it be to his benefit in any way.

They are a bit pricier than most but well worth it if you are looking for a tasty meal. The service is also always good. Thank you Tashas for always delivering!
v. m.We went for my sister's birthday dinner on Thursday evening. The ambience was lovely. We really enjoyed ourselves. The staff was helpful and friendly.. we had our own cake, so we had to pay R100 for the cake, of which I think is quite reasonable. The food was top notch. 👌👌

o. m.The service was exemplary but the food left abut to be desired. I orders The South African quesadilla with extra sirloin filling. No flavour to speak off except the gherkins. It was bland but the flat bread was great. The service was incredible though. A young man with dread locks served us so well. We gave a tip of cause. The ambiance is lovely and their food was prepared relatively quick. I just wishes there had been more flavour. Perhaps the chef forgot to add seasoning or I need to travel with an extra bottle of Aromat. Would've loved to give this place 4 stars or visit again but I don't think either will be happening. I do think there's a lot going for it and I do encourage people to try other items on the menu. Just please ask for seasoning.
M. B.Great food and drinks, they service is spectacularly good as the waiters and waitresses were very kind and would come to check on us often. Tashas is a great looking establishment and has a mix of a moderne and a rustic feel to it.
I would highly recommend coming here for meetings get together or for just meal when you have time
D. L. N.Beautiful setting at Tashas. Ordered the crumbed salmon n potatoes. it comes with lots of potatoes.... but tastes good with lemon butter sauce. They have freshly squeezed juices- tastes good too.
H.tashas is always the best places to go to for a family, date, easy afternoon or dinner. From the atmosphere to the environment it's really great to enjoy the moments with folks at such a hospitable place.
Even better it's a no Smoke Zone so you have that peace of mind that you won't have your taste buds and smelling sensory tempered with.
To top it up, the greenery provided makes it cozy as though I haven't left my house and thats what I want to always feel at home.
I can now say probably tashas Menlyn Maine is the best in town to my old favorite, Brooklyn Square 🥰

W. C.I love going to Tasha's for all my meetings. The food is really great. It is a bit pricey but this is a more upmarket high end restaurant.
Only reason I gave it a 4 star is because the female waitresses seem to show less interest in me and my clients if we are not planning on eating and just having coffee. Not all of them though but on numerous occasions I have seen felt the lack of interest in my table. The Male waiters I have had no problems with at all. My favourite waiter is Eddie I think if I remember correctly.
I probably go to Tashas 2-3 times a week.

This Mojito was an absolute magic with enticing added fruits. The service from staff is as amazing.
Indoors is also chilled if you want that extra relaxation or just busy with your meeting schedules or appointments.
If ever you want a meal or just a drink to quench your thirst...this is the place to be, very vibey!
