As a last minute decision, we went to Stephanie's after a show at the theatre. One of the best decisions! Super delicious food and great service (thanks Hector!). A bit on the pricey side but definitely worth it if you're willing to spend a bit more or keep an eye out for specials (delicious and worth it). I would definitely recommend. I had the beetroot pasta.

Service was outstanding. Food was even better ! So many diverse and delicious menu items. I was so impressed with how my meal was presented, let alone how good the interesting combination of pineapple, roasted cashews and rice was. Fantastic!

Despite a very busy lunch hour on a publuc holiday, the service was still excellent. No long waiting time for food and drinks to come out of the kitchen, staff remained friendly, and the food was tasty and well presented.

The salmon beetroot combination in a fine balanced starter made my tastebuds dance !!!!! The combination of cream cheese and salmon combine with beetroot is a delicate combination with a cream beetroot ice-cream ! The ambience and the choice of decor makes this s very special restuarant The 1000 led-lights that forms the cover of the walkway between restaurants gives the evening a warm atmosphere which reminds me little bit of Oslo!

My visit to this establishment was for a business, breakfast meeting. I made use off the booking service Google supplied to reserve a table for our party. Upon arrival the server was able to take us to our reserved table without any issue. The location was exactly as requested in the reservation, however the table was only set for 2 people when the reservation specified a party of 3. This was immediately rectified by our server setting another place when asked. The atmosphere was calm yet engaged. Stephnie's has design that is pleasing to the eye, displaying various vintage items in a stylish manner that does not overly distract the eye. Perfect to assist with a conversation starter yet easily forgotten when concentrating on more serious topics. The service was good. We were checked upon regularly enough that our needs were met with satisfactory speed, however I did find myself on at least two occasions where I wanted to attract the attention of our server and could not locate anyone to draw attention to our table. I would suggest having the head server or the manager avail themselves to survey the tables during busy times so there is someone that could easily be notified when a table requires assistance. This was the only drawback as the rest of the service was excellent. There were no mistakes with our order, the food was brought out together and the table mannerisms of the servers were on par with at leas a five star restaurant. The food was exactly as advertised. The preparation time was well within the expected time for the dishes ordered while the establishment was at roughly 85% capacity indicating sufficient staffing on the back of house. The quality of the dishes were superb. I would recommend Stephnie's to any and all. The establishment would be perfect for business breakfasts and lunches. It also has a conducive atmosphere for people that want to visit on their own. Whether you want to work on your next blog, grab a lunch in your break, or just meet up for brunch with friends I feel Stephnie's will suit your needs perfectly. I know I will be happy to go there in future.

What a gem. Prices are affordable for amazing food. The Peri Chicken livers was just perfect. I asked for a bit more spice and that was what they did PERFECTLY. Served in a potjie keep the meal steaming hot. The serving is generous. 10/10 on taste. Beatifull place, most comfortable chair and I LOVE the purple chairs. Waiter was fast, effective. Great place and atmosphere. Food was well presented and served exactly as ordered. The meal was scrumptious and tasty, but sadly both my Moroccan lamb curry as well as the steak my wife ordered was very tough to chew. I expected much more tender meat dishes from an upmarket restaurant like this. Prices are definitely not cheap too. Otherwise it is a very nice romantic place to take your loved one for a spoil.

Visited today and once again, Stephnie's lived up to its reputation. Right from the entrance, the ambiance captures your attention - soothing yet beautifully designed, with the purple chairs and tree branch roof lights adding a distinctive touch. The menu at Stephnie's is commendably diverse, catering to various preferences from vegan and vegetarian dishes to a wide selection of meat options, including the unique offering of ostrich. I opted for the Oxtail & Mushroom, and it was truly a culinary delight. The meat was so tender, it effortlessly slid off the bone, and every bite was infused with an intense, mouth-watering flavor. While the rice was slightly dry for my preference, it was easily redeemed when combined with the luscious oxtail sauce. My partner's Fresh Salmon fillet was just as impressive, beautifully cooked and bursting with flavor. A special shoutout to our waitress, Thuli. Her impeccable timing and keen attention ensured that our dining experience was seamless. She was there whenever we needed, without being intrusive. While the quality of the dishes justified the price, it's the consistency in the excellence of Stephnie's that truly stands out. It's a safe bet for us; when in doubt about where to dine, this place always comes to mind. To all the prospective diners out there, Stephnie's is a must-visit. Make sure to try the oxtail if you're a fan of savory dishes. The Fresh Salmon fillet, Melange of Pineapple and Cashew Nuts, and Tuscany’s Trio Fillet are also highly recommended. Every visit here is a gastronomic journey worth relishing!

A very clean restaurant with very polite and well trained staff. I ordered a breakfast/brunch meal and asked them to separate the toast from the meal and serve it on a side plate, this is the first establishment that got it right and cooked the rest of the meal just how I requested it, thank you and well done. The food was also amazing but, as the restaurant is so good, be prepared to wait as it tends to get very busy especially on a Saturday morning, but in my opinion the wait was worth it. Congratulations on a great experience.

I came for a business lunch and was absolutely impressed with the overall menu and speed of service. I’ve walked by many times and it’s always busy compared to the others. Small selection of business lunch priced entrees but a large regular menu. I took pictures of that but missed the breakfast/ business lunch one. Prices for lunch are about 79-100 rand. The larger menu is a la carte. The outdoor seating is fabulous. A European buzz that was really pleasant. Food presentation excellent as was taste. Very well seasoned (I had the chicken/ salad/ halloumi lunch special and all the touches even on a lunch plate (sauce, garnish, etc) Waiters very good. Look forward to taking the family here for a nice dinner!

Their Sunday roast with vegetables is a real treat for anyone longing back to those good ol' days at Grandma's house over the Christmas holidays. And that is the power of a brilliantly prepared plate of soul food. It dips you into nostalgia with every bite.
