I’ve been here before and I have to say it is like a completely different place. Seems like more of a lounge/party spot than a restaurant. I went for the bottomless mimosas special they have on Sundays. The mimosa’s were so sweet because they add syrup to them. So I did not enjoy them but kept going because I paid R195. The waiters are not very attentive. I recommend going on a different day if you want good service. The vibe was nice.

Mandi was such a great waiter, gave the best service. And let me not forget the lovely manager Chris. The food and the drinks were amazing, the atmosphere was to die for. Will definitely be back!!!

The food is great, and the service is somewhat okay. My only issue with regards to the atmosphere is that as a guest, you are there to enjoy yourself, but now there are bees flying around, and when we asked the waiter if they don't have anything to help keep the bees away he said no, that made the entire experience horrible. Social Main has beautiful plants around that add as part of their aesthetic, but I think they should consider making a plan for the bees because nobody wants to get stung by a bee. Otherwise, they play great music in the background, and yeah, the food and drinks are affordable.

Lovely place, not too loud and rowdy. Loved the food and service. Toilets are clean and not far from where we were sitting(balcony). We missed the bottomless mimosas as we went during the week, aparently they only do it on Sundays.There are a lot of bees so always make sure you ask for the coffee to burn so the bees don't come to your table. It's great for that brunch with friends even while working. Don't go during December cos they were too overwhelmed with Christmas parties. Easy to get there as well. We had the social board which was R350 and had a variety of things to share....perfect for when you just want something small and not too hungry. Could feed 2 or 3 people.

Friend and I decided to go grab dinner. I am blown away by the service of our waiter Mandi Ngweny. We got the Safrican chicken burger and a bacon, feta and avo pizza, and I must just say this was hands down the best meal I have had in a while. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was so lively and welcoming. Shout out to Mandi’s manager, Chris, for having such incredible staff with excellent customer service skills. I highly recommend

It's a lovely and lively place. The food is great and I love the craft beers on tap. Liyema was also wonderful hostess, her professionalism and friendliness are well balanced. We also appreciated and enjoyed Rebecca's service.

Friend and I grabbed dinner here under my recommendation, I will forever continue coming back here for this delicious burger and my friend was blown away by how good a simple pizza was. The atmosphere is vibey and the service was friendly and accommodating. 10/10 recommend this spot.

The food is abit expensive for the portions, the seating is fine (there's enough space - minimal crowding). The music and lighting are good though so it'd be nice to have a drink and talk.

This a lovely hangout place and their service is exceptional. Their Dj on the night I was there after 8pm kinda lost the crowd and we had to leave the music was not as nice but overall it was a lovely experience being there

Ambiance is very chilled and relaxed. Service was excellent and the waiters and waitresses wait to see when needed and don’t unnecessarily interrupt. Drinks are pricey and the food menu albeit at the higher price range, really delivers a good meal. Enjoy it alone, as a couple or with a group of friends

Really nice vibe and pretty friendly staff. The tapas menu is lovely and the restaurant as a whole has a great layout and an nice bar area. Also - central location is great. The chicken sliders were hilarious (batter made from popcorn?!) but also delicious.

Absolutely amazing experience found the place on tik tok and convinced my friends to pull through we got there at 1pm had the best mimosas ever the music was great and for a Sunday it was full.. everyone dancing and just having a blast.. The team and managers included were very hands on and ready to assist. We left at 17:00 and it was still pumping. Amazingly we found ourselves back at 8:30 for the rugby they had screens indoors and outdoors the volume for the game could have been better and clearer especially outside but I’m not complaining. Overall great experience and thanks for the hangover see you every Sunday 😂😂😂

Excellent place all round. Social is like my 2nd home n my go to. The staff are excellent, management is friendly, the food is good I usually have their nachos and wings. Drinks are nice as well. It's a great place for any occasion and has a wonderful chilled welcoming atmosphere. They have Djs come through every week n live bands at times. It's truly a gem!

Great little place for a drink and & a small bite. On weekends they have some live music that creates an awesome vibe. Central location. Big veranda area is nice for outside seating. Menu can be a bit pricy, but it's quality.

Social has a wonderful atmosphere. We went on a Saturday and there was a DJ which was awesome. The food was okay... Not bad but not great. The nachos had minimal flavour. The chicken parm sandwich was nice but nothing amazing. The rump was tough. The fish cakes were soft, not crunchy. The prawn taco also was just okay. On the chicken parm, I asked the waiter if it came with chips. He said it did. When it came, there was no chips and I was disappointed because the waiter already set the expectation. He then said he could bring me chips and then did and charged me for it despite him initially saying that it was part of the dish. The chicken parm and rump came with a very wet salad. Expected more.

Set-up: there's indoor and outdoor seating, with background music playing. If you smoke you can sit outside. I had a great time. The food is so delicious, the drinks are flowing. The prices are reasonable and the staff was so friendly. I really had a lovely time.

My friends and I enjoy this place. One of our favourite hangout spots that side. It's quite relaxed but also upbeat classy. They sometimes have live music or live djs which always adds a unique and fun element to the social nature of the space. Their food is also a catch with common favourites - we keep going back. We love it!
