We celebrated our anniversary yesterday. Signature Restaurant offers a Proper Fine Dining Experience. Service was impeccable. Food was amazing. Prices are a bit steep but generally a great place to visit. Great wine selection, a solo live one man band 🎺 kept us entertained.. Be sure to make a turn there..

What a fabulous restaurant! The food was outstanding and kudos to the chef for not trying to over complicate things but to focus on letting the incredible ingredients speak for themselves. This is now by far my favorite restaurant in Johannesburg.

Starters were not good. Left a lot to be desired for an upmarket establishment. Service was good. Staff was very friendly. Mains were good. Steak was quality and well -made. Prawns were a letdown. Salmon was reasonable. Risotto was DELICIOUS 😋. I'd have that daily with steak. Wine was okay.

What a sublime experience. Elegant decor, extremely attentive staff without being intrusive, one of the best (most extensive) wine lists I’ve encountered in SA, and exquisite food—both on the palate and the eye. Starters are roughly in the R150-200 range, mains roughly R300-400, desserts roughly R150-200. Live music is exactly the right style and volume to complement the setting. An excellent choice for a special occasion!

The food was exceptional, but we were let down by the service. The waiter appeared more focused on pushing additional items we didn’t want to inflate the bill instead of ensuring we had a pleasant fine dining experience, and she seemed rushed throughout our meal.

Signature never disappoints; you know exactly what to expect when visiting; attentive staff, amazing food, great ambience. The perfect spot to celebrate special occasions (birthdays in our case) have lunch (casual or business) or drink cocktails. A must-visit for sure.

We did not enjoy the starters nor the main course. It was beautifully presented but the flavours weren't great. We tried the poached lobster and duck trio starter, pork belly and duck leg confit main course and chocolate duo dessert. The dessert was good but nothing extraordinary. Try the gin cocktail with chamomile tea if you prefer a refreshing and sweet drink. I would visit again because of the excellent service, beautiful view, live entertainment and to try other dishes.

During summer, i think 18:30 is the perfect time to be seated. Try and get the window seats if possible because the breeze and the sky and the vibe are just so gorgeous. The food wasn't as phenomenal as i heard it to be. We ordered a mushroom risotto but it was too sweet to our taste. The stars of this place are the steaks. So tender, aromatic and the food decor is a bonus. We went on a Wednesday evening and at 19:30 there was live singing done by the most amazing lady❤ Dessert wise, we had the apple crumble and the fererro roche tiramisu and both were a good choice❤ Definitely would go again for special occasions!

From the time we enteted the restaurant the staff were curteous and respectful..The Waitress had a good knowledge of the Menu items. She also reassured us that our meals will be prepared according to our strict dietary requirements. She had also arranged a surprise desert item for our Daughter who passed her exams. A bit on the pricey side, but excellent value for money. We will definitely be back for our next celebration.

Great restaurant. Excellent service. I will definitely return for the deserts. Was slightly disappointed by the lamb chops @R285. Ordered medium rare, but since some chops were thin and some thick, the thin ones were well done.

We went there for our sister’s 40 th birthday celebration. It was so complicated at first we made a booking for 30 people they told us ok no problem. But when we arrived there.it was a drama I never seen in my life.ok first they never told us we are not allowed to bring our photographer and we are not allowed to have our balloons and cake on the table.our table for 30 people was not arranged at all.in future when someone is making a booking please be open about your rules before anything else.but finally at the end the manager agreed to rearrange our table atleast to accomodate everyone.the food was not bad or good, average.for the price they charge.the food looks yummy but not tasty.i had oxtail with rice.it didn’t have that South African taste at all.we were there 13 March 2020.

Terrible service,  excellent food. We were there three times.  Same result.  You definitely expect something special from the restaurant with the Michlen stars' approach like what they did for the Saint Valentines day. Chief and his team followed the concept. All food was excellent and it is different from most of the places in Johannesburg. Service- just terrible.  The table was dressed such a way that tablecloth was on a floor. You had to demand to change cutlery. It took 30 minutes to get a cup of tea. Two courses were delivered at the same time. What was done well - including 10% service fee into the bill. I do recommend for a good food, but you will feel that the restaurant is a part of the shopping center.

I went last night to celebrate my partners birthday, we thoroughly enjoyed the live music, the food and the service everyone goes an extra mile which is something I was looking forward to EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. I went into the built in wine refrigerator to see if I can try any of the wines and I think the manager told the waitress I should come out of there, it would have been kind of him to come and address me personally thank you. Great restaurant but it is OH so grossly over priced. A bottle of wine costing R140 at a liquor store was marked up to R1300. That's almost 1000%. The wine is DMZ Chenin Blanc. We were also duped when we called to book a table. The call was intercepted by hackers who sent an official e mail for us to pay R800 upfront to secure a table. On arrival the reception staff said they were aware of this but it's been 2 weeks now and not even a call has been made to us to try and investigate the hack. This means that owners /management just don't give a damn. As long as they can attract the noveaux rich who have money to burn they will remain intransigent and keep overcharging. I will not return there on principle .

The service you receive from staff is good. The waiters pay attention to you which makes you feel that you are well taken care of. A friendly and effective service overall was received. The restaurant looks amazing and the staff are well trained, friendly and attentive. The food is presented beautifully and looks so good it's difficult not to take lots of photos. Unfortunately, that's where it stops. The food was mediocre at best, with the lobster tail being overcooked and the quail so well done it was almost inedible. A manager came to our table to enquire about the food. I brought the overcooked quail to his attention, which prompted a brief inaudible response after which he quickly disappeared, never to return. Very disappointing experience from a fine dining restaurant. We won't be back.

My son and I had dinner at Signature last night to celebrate his 17th birthday. I have a very happy 17 year old right. He thoroughly enjoyed everything. In his words 'the food is next level'.

The ambience was really good and I had high hopes from the restaurant, it's been on my wishlist for a while but the food was very disappointing. one of the chicken starters that I ordered tasted like cold cut meat you can buy at any local store, nothing special about it Also the prawns that I ordered as part of my main course weren't fresh. Go for the ambiance not the food.

I went to collect a takeaway so I can't say much about sitting in at the restaurant itself. However, the staff were very professional and the atmosphere seemed great. It took me a while to pay for my food because all the speed points were in use for a while (but I understand because the restaurant was about to close). On a lighter note, their lamb shank was nothing short of amazing.

We had a stunning meal, the service was first rate and very very slick and professional. A real joy to have live entertainment. They have a great singer who deserved a lot more appreciation from the patrons, many of whom may have been a little distracted updating their instagram profiles with their culinary calls or making sure the selfie angle was “just so” to catch the sheen of their lip gloss and the R30k bottle of bubbles at the same time. They have their waiters extremely well trained. All of them work very efficiently and as a team. Loved the food. We had a pre-set menu because of Valentine day which was paid upfront and the way it was shown on the bill was very confusing, but in the end all was correctly billed.
