We have a wonderful experience with every visit to this store. Wait staff are amazing and have excellent work ethic. Ladies like Sisa (Amanda) and Christobel (Mandisa) are at the top of their game and make us want to come back even more often than we already do. They treat us like we are part of their family & make us feel extra special. Food is off impeccable quality and never fails us. James; with his superb hosting skills is a gem, he constantly checks in with guests to ensure comfort, quality and support! Let me not forget about Penny, the gracious store manager, who is on point! She runs that place like a well oiled machine. We have been visiting this store even before our kids and I have seen this woman work, it’s soo understandable why her staff have such outstanding work ethic; after all they do have the best chiefess (female chief) leading them. Hats off to you my lady! The very last time we visited the experience was even more memorable. I knew I had lost my baby’s change mat but I didn’t know where exactly. As usual the time spent at the restaurant was amazing but as we left; the kids had to remove their tags in the play area so I took them. The attendant removed their tags, greeted my kids by their names and we began to walk away then to my dismay the attendant stopped in my tracks and called out to me to say that I had left the change mat in the booth the last time I was there! I was beyond blown away, she attends to so many kids, sees soo many parents but she knew exactly who I was and knew that the mat belonged to me. Give that woman a raise🤩, in fact give all of them a raise! They all truly deserve it. No other Spur Halaal franchise can compete this team of people. Please don’t ever lose these people!!! This is the standard that other Spur franchises should be working up to! They have a winning team. San Antonio Spur is the Crème de la Crème of Spurs! Thank you team for making our Spur visits soo memorable! You actually make it hard for us to go anywhere else😝

Crumbed Mushrooms, Wings, Cheese Burgers, Chips, Onion Rings and Lime Milkshake were all 10/10. The cheesy garlic roll was small and not cheesy enough...but still rather tasty. Shout-out to Lethu - Excellent service from start to finish... and made the night a wonderful experience. Lethu and the rest of the staff were so energetic and friendly, even singing birthday songs loudly and dancing with excitement.. into the last hour of service...will definitely be back soon...

Nice place and clean. Awesome food. Halal. Attentive staff. Cool kids play area with caretaker. I left my shopping item and the staff safe keep it for me. Prayer room available. Only problem was the doneness was a bit off. Asked for a medium but came as medium well. Overall it was a good dining experience.

One of the highlights of dining at Spur is the welcoming and family-friendly environment. The play area is a fantastic feature that keeps the little ones entertained, allowing adults to enjoy their meal in peace. Moreover, as a Muslim patron, I deeply appreciate the availability of a Salaah facility. It's a considerate provision that caters to the needs of the Muslim community and makes dining at Spur even more convenient. Just be aware that the facility is one room, so when ladies are reading, Men are often waiting outside and vice versa.

Best Spur I've ever been to. Something is different about the food, its so tasty! All of the staff are so friendly and helpful. Modern crockery is such a nice touch and the clean setup makes it the best Spur by far! My only problem is the portions have gotten way smaller (the ribs especially) and the Calamari became strips.

Iftaar at spur on Saturday The service was impeccable—attentive but never intrusive. Our waiter Ayanda (whom I always request to wait on us) was knowledgeable, friendly, and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Every course arrived at the perfect moment. Samoosas, dates and water were already set on the table, ready for breaking fast. We were served beef samoosas but prefer chicken and they made an exception to provide what we requested. I have to compliment Penny, Monique, James and Ayanda who always go out of their way to make us feel extra special. They know who we are, "their regulars". Please do express our sincere gratitude and love to them. By the end of the meal, I found myself wishing the experience could last just a little longer. San Antonio Spur isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to savour, celebrate, and return to time and time again. If you’re looking for a dining experience that exceeds expectations in every way, this is it.

If you go to Johannesburg, they serve on the ground floor of Sandton Shopping Mall. The location is displayed incorrectly on Google maps. Neighboring BT Games and Hamley toy store.
