Food was fresh, but very light and not much variety for Vegans, which is surprising for a Mexican restaurant. Food was also very expensive for value- R125 for a small salad consisting of avo, tomato and cucumber only! This was dissapointing. Service was not so great, the waitress was not knowledgeable and was swopped. Atmosphere was very loud. Was hoping for a better experience

Epic atmosphere, super friendly and helpful staff. PLUS the food was delicious!! Perfect spot if you dont want carbs! You can create your own salad bowl 👌🏻 would highly recommend!!!

I went here with my boyfriend for his birthday dinner. Excellent service! The staff are friendly and very helpful. On the weekend I would suggest one or two more waiters/waitresses but we were taken care of nicely. The food was delicious and we received it surprisingly quick. Thank you for a great night. I'm looking forward to coming back. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food is delicious and well presented. Atmosphere is up beat which gives a fun dining experience. Staff are exceptional and go out of their way for you. Service is excellent - food arrives in good time and while still hot and fresh. The Nachos is definitely one of my favourite items on the menu.

The food was actually better than some of the other branches I've been to, and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed by the bathrooms. Our waiter forgot one of our orders, though and it felt like he was rushing us to finish eating and leave even though it was pretty quiet. I'd go back though, and maybe not order as much as last time so I don't get full half way due to the generous portions!

Genuinely one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had. The staff are so friendly, the food is delicious and always on point, and the ambience of the establishment is just fantastic. Very catering towards families, birthdays and any sort of get together. I love love LOVE the spicy nachos. 10/10 would recommend!

Such a great experience! We made a booking and the lady speaking to us was extremely friendly and had such great service. We got a really nice table and their service was soooo good. Our food and drinks didn't take long to come at all and the waiters check up to see if you need anything, I think it was the manager who came by to check as well. 10/10

Cocktails were nice. Food was tasty. Bit stingy on the sour cream, guacamole and salsa side. Started packing up around us (and 3 other tables) and asked us to pay our bill an hour before closing which made us quite uncomfortable. This Salsa branch used to be amazing. Maybe it was just a bad night

Well established, clean and modern facility with friendly, warm staff and an overall vibe of fun times and laughter. In the afternoons the atmosphere is very family and kid friendly. Come night time it shifts towards lighthearted drinking as the restaurant bursts into singing and hats are placed on your head. I recommend the Quesadillas.

Their food is always really good. However, the prices have just gotten out of control. You guys used to be a little bit on the pricy side but now your prices have gone up quite a bit. The food and its quality is still really good though.

I have been to Salsa a few times and the last two times the food has felt like it has been of a lower standard. So this review will be split into 2 parts. My initial visits and my two most recent visits. My initial impressions. It is located in the main food court of Bedford Centre. It is reasonably busy most nights giving it a good atmosphere of music and conversation. The food that I had ordered was served within 10min of me ordering it. The menu is set out on a piece of paper and you tick the things that you want, that makes it nearly impossible for the wrong food to be given to you. My recent visits. The past two times I have been there I have received poor waiters with sub par training. My food took nearly half an hour on both occasions (the one day I was one of 3 tables which is unacceptable). On the most recent occasion I was at a birthday party and there were quite a few underaged girls attending the party and the waiter asked if anyone wanted desserts and the one girl stated "No, because I am fat." the waiter proceed to look at her stomach and pinch it once to prove that she was not fat. I feel like that goes a bit too far. The Nachos. Don't get me wrong. This is my favourite item on the menu but there is one fault. When they get served to you the top layer is nice and crispy, covered in cheese. The closer you get to the bottom the more soggy it gets. Now I know this is unavoidable due to the way food works when there is melted cheese and source on crispy chips. I suggest that they serve it in 2 courses but that would add complexity and cost to the meal.

I like the feel of Salsa, the atmosphere is super chilled, the staff are fiendly and the food is superb. Jeff was our waiter and was very entertaining. My wife and I will definitely visit them again and try something different. Portion sizes are very decent

There is a good selection of tequilas to choose from, as well as other drinks. The food served was quite authentic mexican, there are tacos and chillies. The place is well located and good to come with large groups. I would recommend this place if you like mexican food and are in the mall. Great for a post workout meal.
