My go to burger place!! I love the food, it is always such a vibe to eat at RocoMamas Melrose. The service is great, the food is always top notch. Never been disappointed. A special thanks to Melissa who has been very helpful and always so hospitable.

The attention to detail. Mellissa Adims and Dorkis made my day. The Food was very good and the service was brilliant. It was a wholesome experience from the little girl at the next table being made to feel like a princess on her birthday to them helping me with a plug for my laptop. Really Good Burgers, wings and ribs, good service, even when they are busy the service is decent. Been here many times and the service and quality has been consistent. I would definitely keep going back for more.

The floor area around the tables needed cleaning badly. The service was slow it was busy due to the rugby. The hot chocolate was poor milky with no chocolate.

Steak burger was ok, not the easiest to eat as the meat was a bit tough to bite into and chew. Buffalo strips, chips, wings and wife's burger was good though. Will stick to their usual patty burgers as those never disappoint.

When ordering food unfortunately the temperature can be affected. The burger gets soggy and wet and the fries are not the best. I would say stick to the wings and strips, if a delivery and the bomb cheese balls.

So the food was good, so you basically have an option to build your own burger, the waitress accomadated me by allowing me to have to 100gram patties instead of 2x 150grams, the bill gets abit confusing however great experience

We ordered Takeaway from the restaurant. The staff were lovely and felt helpful. Our order was ready quite soon which surprised both my wife and I but we put it down to good service. Fast forward- we get home and our whole order is completely wrong - we ordered 16 wings that were peri peri and with blue cheese sauce, simply I would think!! We got home and to our disappointment we had been given plain wings with mayonnaise!!! We are very disappointed with the lack of attention to detail; Especially during a time where service is of uttermost importance and accuracy is paramount!

Generally amazing food, I became a regular but service started dropping. Had to wait about an hour for 1 waffle. Some of the waitresses have a bad attitude, like they really hate their job. The manager is great and funny even. The food is the only thing I go there for, I expect bad service when I sit in and eat at the restaurant.

Great service, awesome atmosphere, waitresses and waiters looks relaxed and want to do their job, one of the best restaurants if been to. Love that they take pride in the cleanliness of the store. Ask for Justine, guy serves with a smile and comes back every few min to make sure you comfortable.

Really great burgers. I always prefer to make my own combination. Fried portions are really large so choose wisely. A good place to come watch sport as the outside looks into the Melrose Arch courtyard with the giant screen.

Being a frequent customer at Rocomamas Melrose Arch, I write my review based on my most recent visit to the restaurant on the 15/05 (Sunday): 1) On arrival to the restaurant it is usually customary for one of the staff members to greet you and show you to a table. We walked into the restaurant without being approached by any staff. It really made me wonder whether they were not taking any more customers for the day. I found a suitable table and looked around hoping that a waiter to tend to us soon. 2) The restaurant was not busy- and I have been there on days that have been much more busy-however, the food took a good 25-30 mins to arrive. 3) The staff seemed unenthusiastic as they went about their duties and I truly felt like they just wanted to call it a night and go home. 4) The food was good as it usually is but unfortunately the chips were stale. 5) Upon looking around in the area that I was sitting, It was the 1st time that I had ever noticed dirt on the floor. There were loose menus and chips dropped on the floor and pencils laying on the table. I also had sight of the bin which was brought out and left right next to the wash basin. There was certainly something wrong and I had to know what it was. I have never experienced the above at the Melrose branch and I was deeply concerned that I may not be able to visit this branch without the fear of being disappointed by consistency, flavour or some other factor. I had an idea of what it may be and so I obliged to ask the waiter that was seeing to us. "Yes, he resigned 2 weeks ago" was the response to my question of "Where is the usual manager who is always around?" It was then that all my questions were answered. Unfortunately, the previous manager at Rocomamas has now resigned and I definitely see the difference. There was a certain standard that I observed under his management and the lack of it is immediately apparent. I only hope that this was a once off experience and that the Melrose branch continues to deliver exceptional food and service.

Burgers are nice but I think Burger rack's patties are tastier. The wings were lovely, the drinks were superb and the cheesy chilli chips are divine. The nachos were not bad too. We had decent service from our waiter

Fezeka Bengu was taking care off us. She was friendly, polite and just excellent. She went above and beyond to make our dinner personal. The manager also checked on us twice. What a friendly and warm establishment. Food was good and all Covid protocols carried out. We will be there again.

The food is okay but the location is what makes it better. Its just a pity that the pop up rolled ice cream store was right next to it, and they made horrible noise yelling and whistling. That ruined our experience. Management should get rid of them.

The food was delicious, a bit disappointed the the main meal doesn't come with sides. Not the best place to eat out if you have kids. No play area. Waiters don't seem accustomed to kids. The cream on the milkshake tasted sour. I'll stick to the spur, thanks.

The best burger ever! Lovely ambiance and delicious food. Had a beef burger with Macon, jalapenos, caramelized onions (they forgot to caramelize them and gave me regular onions but that's ok), mushrooms with a side of shoestring fries and strawberry daiquiry...it was amazing!

The food was quite good and the milkshakes even better. The staff do their best to give good fast service but mixed up a few of our orders. Regardless though they apologised and quickly fixed it. I would definitely go there again. Fyi, the hot wings even in the hottest flavour "mofo" was not really hot but understandably the restaurant has to cater for everyone's tastes.

5 stars is not enough!!! The food is unbelievably delicious, best Burgers and loaded fries in GAUTENG, as for the Nutella & Banana waffle, I'll be back. Always had excellent service and very delicious food from this Rocomamas. My latest visit is what has driven me to review. When we went to collect our order we were told that the vegetarian patties were finished. Not only did they refund us for the burger they gave us free nachos for the inconvenience. The best part was the way the staff handled the situation and treated us it was excellent. I hope that this get read to the staff at Rocomamas melrose arch because they deserve to hear it.

Update: Management reached out to me & the below issue was resolved and I am happy with the outcome. Will be coming back here again 😁 We actually came here specifically for the waffles - only to be told that they've stopped making waffles for the day. I mean? What are we meant to have for dessert then??? We were really disappointed and ended up going to Roco Mamas Rosebank for waffles after our main meal (which was really good by the way).
