Piccola Italia is a family owned restaurant with real Italian food. Their food is of the best quality, they have a great selection of wines to choose from and they will always greet you with a smile. If you're looking for the perfect night out, this is the place to go. Their thin-based pizzas is definitely a must have!!

I had the Amalfi pizza, it was absolutely delicious! I also have the curry (can't remember exactly which one) but it is one of my favourite! When ever I come here or order it's a fight between the pizza and the curry, always a hard decison to make😍

This is a hidden gem of Pretoria. A little cozy Italian, family-run restaurant close to the R21 highway. We love the pizza made in the wooden oven. They serve pasta fish and meat too. Do try the Italian wine if you are here for a more authentic experience.

I regularly get take away pizza from Piccola Italia, the quality is extremely good - it would sell well in Italy. I tried almost everything of the restaurant menu over the years and in general you get quite good value for money, one excellence is the trippa alla parmigiana (tripe, if you are keen on it - i definitely am) which is a challenging dish to prepare. The restaurant is rather small so the wait time is never above 20 minutes, the setting is very informal and the staff very friendly. Once a month they hold wine tasting events, which takes all the restaurant space. I will join one soon and post about it.
