The specials are amazing!! Tuesday, they have a buy 1 get 1 free on selected sushi 🍣 (only on the 8 pieces). Our favs are definitely the golden roll - deep fried. If you love crunch , you have to give it a try 🥢 Delicious 😋

Great prawn chow faan. That's all I ever ordered here and it's good. Staff are not consistently the same. They are sometimes friendly and welcoming, other times not so much.

Food is good and sometimes well prepared depending on the sushi chef making it. Some guys dont compact the sushi enough, and you wnd up with rice breaking off. The ladies behind the till could practice smiling... but you really are not going there for them. It gets busy in the evenings and worse on special days like valentines Day, mothers Day, christmas eve etc so be sure to order via phone early. the big benefit... they are busy, so the ingredients are fresh

I have enjoyed the Golden Rose Franchise for a long time and their food has always maintained a good standard. Had an issue with a missing item from a recent Uber Eats order and they corrected the issue without fuss - Excellent Customer Service. They have also started using better take-away containers (although slightly smaller portions now).

Ever since Golden Rose relocated to the other side of Steers, something changed. I bought sushi last night expecting the usual nice and decently-priced sushi I always got but this was something else. I just had to write this review as a thank you! It was SO good, such value for money. The fish was so fresh, this will have to be my new go-to sushi spot because I can't get the taste of the perfectly seasoned rice out of my head. Salivating as I type this, thank you again!

Their Crispy beef is great most of the time, not consistent anymore, also the portion is getting really small. I always ask for chilli, sometimes I get it and other times not but overall it is still a good dish.

We go at least once a month for Sushi at Golden Rose. It is normally a take-away platter. My daughter loves the salmon roses and I just love the fact that the food is freshly made in front of me. There are comfortable chairs to sit in while you wait and one can even have a glass of wine or beer while you wait. It is spotless and really well run! Good for you, Golden Rose.

Always great service and food. Good quality ingredients and good sized portions too. The sushi is delicious and very fresh and very affordable. I would definitely say that this is my favorite Chinese take out. The deep fried banana is great as a dessert option, obviously add some ice cream at home and its a real treat. Try the dumplings they are available in both boiled and deep fried, the deep fried is so crispy and not oily at all, the steamed is best so full of flavour. All round this is not to be missed try Golden rose you'll have a new favourite Chinese take out. There is seating available for a sit down meal although a little small there are 3 tables inside and a sushi bar that seats 4 and 4 tables outside. Hope you enjoy it as much as our family does
