I have been going to Golden Peacock restaurant from the time I was a child and their food, service and atmosphere have always been exceptional. Staff are amazing!!! I highly recommend their takeaway curry mince, samosas and chilli bites. Especially the prawn chilli bites. On a Saturday they are R5 each!!! How amazing!!!? Go on... You won't be disappointed. Please support the wonderful and kind owners

Excellent samoosas (especially the cheese and onion) but quite disappointing quarter mutton bunny - bread was dry and very little meat on the bones. Saving grace was the extra gravy on the side. The mince roti looked like a far better choice.

Honestly cannot understand some of the negative reviews. After visting many Indian restaurants i would say this one is a must. The home style cooking beats most resturant style curries. Definitely worth trying.
