Attended a child's party, snack foods both savory & sweet, cappuccino coffee teas & juices all good. Didn't enquire about gluten-free food as fruit kebabs & veggie-hallumi kebabs delicious. Child-minders in the play area, very attentive servers in "private-function area" Highly recommended 👌

This place is gold for any parent of young kids. Our kiddies thoroughly enjoy the playground - although a bit neglected and in need of maintenance. Caretakers look after the littles while you sit in peace and enjoy your drinks and meals. The meals are scrumptious and never disappoint. Service is top notch and pricing fair.

Took long to be seated, I walked in to ask if they had a table for us, I had to go and find a waitress, I had to fetch my own high chairs for my babies, after asking them four times for them. The child minders only pitched towards the end of our meal. By then I was gatvol and tired. Granted I did tip quite generously at the end, for a disappointing experience.

What a great experience. Welcoming from the door and the service from Mbongisani was excellent. We had breakfast and have no complaints, we enjoyed the food and the kids enjoyed the play area. We are really looking forward to going back for lunch/dinner.

This place is wonderful for families with kids- such amazing equipment for them. The food is sadly slowly deteriorating in quality- please keep it up as it’s such a wonderful place to eat! Great service, friendly staff, great set up. Let’s keep good food on that list as well!

Really lovely restaurant, with an extensive menu and great views. I visit this place whenever I'm close to zoolake and every dish I try never disappoints. There's a great selection from light meals to comfort food like baked pastas. My favorite is the baked ravioli. The portions are quite generous and it's perfect for families and couples that like to share meals. The service really depends on your waiter but on busy days it can get painfully slow, so maybe go during the week if you're in a rush. There's a superb playground and an ice cream/ slushie/candy area where the kiddies can choose their treats. I'd recommend Gioia for birthday parties because the little one's will have plenty to do. Definitely worth trying out.

Awesome restaurant twith a wide variety of meals to suit every taste. The atmosphere is friendly. Very nice deck woth a view as well as a child friendly area with child minders of needed. It can get very busy, so I would suggest booking a table ahead of time and expect to wait a while for your food. Despite being very busy, rhe service was excellent. Unfortunately they were swamped with pizza orders, so we couldn't try that.
