Lovely setup with outdoor/indoor seating. We tried the chai latte and custard cake. The cake was dry and not as tasty as it looked 😞

Upon ordering, you are served with a few great slices of bread. The food was very good. Even though the place was packed, we did not wait too long for the food, and as mentioned, the bread helps too just sooth that mad hunger you might have upon coming here. The service was not as good as I have had, but this is understandable considering how jam-packed the place was as it was a Friday night. The manager also often checks in just to make sure you are still good. The atmosphere, where do I begin. It is as seen in photos with that warm light in the place, and when it gets cold, sitting inside is great with the pizza ovens warming up the entire place. The lights are both warm yellow for the atmosphere and they don't make it difficult to see your food. Seating. The tables for 4 can get a little cramped when you don't sit at the couch tables. The tables all look very nice but even the big tables seamed like they are a little small for a lot of people. I would not recommend this for a large party.

Enjoyable with good lighting so I could see what I was eating! Very limited drinks menu in regard to spirits... no rum, whisky or brandy available with a mix, but you can have them in a cocktails! Lots of wine & cocktails though! Fresh bread and muffins sold in the deli area.

Always have the best time here! The service is excellent - from the time you walk in, the staff and managers are always the most welcoming. The food and drinks are divine. I’ve been to the Sandton and Rosebank branches and definitely think Lakefield has the best service! Patty, Preity and Mthoko have all given excellent service at various times. Always such a pleasure coming here.

My daughter had a starter off their special menu with loaded chips (I think theu should offer the cheese sauce on the side, it's nor the greatest), pizza sticks and calamari I think. It's a huge plate, lol. She enjoyed everything except the cheese sauce. I had the Moroccan chicken bowl, chicken was a tad bit dry and flavourless. The red velvet cheesecake was OK, the cheesecakes had a feta like consistency. Lemon meringue was great. Overall a good lunch. We also had the halloumi and oxtail croquettes starters which were good.

We went there on the 23/09/23. What a lovely restaurant, with a lot of family from Australia. Just love the atmosphere, the food was awesome and the waitress was very friendly!! Our Family from Auz was very impressed, and they do have high-standard restaurants over in Sydney, but was so impressed with Doppio Zero. Thank you, you did not disappoint at all .

I came to Doppio Zero Lakefield with my friends to celebrate my birthday and my overall experience was just amazing!!! The food was exactly how we expected it to be and the service was also very great. The staff are so friendly and the manager came up to our table and checked up on us and was very nice. They also offered me a cheesecake for my birthday celebration while the staff came and sang to me! The restaurant is also very clean and aesthetic and we all really had an amazing time. It is overall a great restaurant to go out with friends and family! Highly recommend!

The service is excellent! It's not exactly a kid friendly place but we came with the baby and had a great time. I didn't enjoy the cocktail I ordered but they were happy to make me something else, which was perfect! The food was good too.

Food was delicious ,the restaurant was packed as you wait to be sited you don't even feel as you are attended and every staff gives the best short ,such a good environment worth every penny you spent ,what moved me very friendly and respectful staff ,they young lady lady who did greet and meet was so phenomenal a young white lady that girl is business she means business ,an African gentleman who ushered to the table was so good well mannered he made our day I couldn't have enjoyed he is amazing he checks on tables and made sure everyone is sitted and served in sure is a manager/,team leader our waiter was good too I can not have enjoyed my day elsewhere except Doppio Zero Lakefield ,you Rock. .
