If you're looking for a quiet, sophisticated and hidden gem in Pta East coupled with good food, wine and live music, then this is the place for you. My first time dining there and it was worth every cent. The waiters there are not just waiters - they also double up as singers throughout the evening. Aim to arrive by 19:00 if you want to hear them live. Note: There is a 15% service fee on the final bill but negligible considering the high level of service. Would highly recommend it.

Wow, what an amazing experience, the term dinner and a show is what you can expect and so much more. You get a 6 course meal, with friendly service. The cocktails are delicious with a lot of options and every hard liquor option available you could think of, as well as a very comprehensive wine list. 10/10 would recommend!

Wow, what an experience! We went for our anniversary and were blown away by the service, the wonderful staff and the incredible atmosphere! Noma our Table Maestro (to call her a waitress would be a terrible understatement) was exceptional. If people don't know, the staff also sing and perform between the different courses and all put on such a great show! Not to mention the food which was absolutely mouthwateringly good! We enjoyed a 6 course meal and boy, from start to finish I enjoyed every morsel. My recommendation is that everyone should visit this place at least once and I most certainly will go back and make sure to take my extended family along too!

Came to the restaurant not really knowing what to expect, was absolutely blown away. Great ambience, great food and really good performances from the waiters. I'd recommend sitting inside just to watch the performances up close, otherwise the gazebos are a nice romantic little setting away from the rest of the customers. Also 5 star to Yasheel our waiter for the evening.

We stayed 3 nights at Casa Toscana Lodge. Everyone from the desk clerk, to restaurant staff, to housekeeping were happy, helpful, personable. The room we had was a luxury king room. It was large, well appointed, quiet. The restaurant at the hotel is amazing, with a quite talented chef. The food we ate there was creatively presented and extremely delicious. We were treated to some music on one night by our waiter which was a treat. All in all a great stay and a lodge we would recommend and visit again.

The most romantic outdoor gazebos to have supper with your loved one. Candles and blankets when it is cold. The food absolutely great and served with style. If you really want to have an unforgettable experience this venue is to be recommended. Yes you do pay a bit more than for a Spur outing... But this is no Spur.!

This is the only singing restaurant in Pretoria if not Gauteng. The waiters are the singers so you get saved by an Opera singer. It is the best romantic place to take your partner to. The food is also very good. I had a red wine shank and the meet was literally falling of the bone. Best dining experience ever. We loved it

We loved it, what an experience. The buffet was delicious 😋. The host Phillip Moolman was excellent and we love the fact that he speaks so openly about the Lord Jesus. The Demi Lee Moore show was our first at Die Blou Hond but will definitely not be our last.

Never a dull moment at Die Blou Hond! From timeless traditions to spontaneous songs, the Blou Hond has it all. The Blou Hond prides itself in hosting music acts from all around the country. We went to go watch Bottomless Cofee Band and it was fabulous! Everything from the arrival (you are welcomed warmly and given champagne and popcorn), to the food, to the actual even was wonderful! I can recommend the Blou Hond to anyone who wants an interesting evening out and who loves music.

Die Blou Hond arts theatre is excellent for people who appreciate creative talent. Pillip Moolman opens the evening in typical Blou Hond tradition singing and howling with the audience. Marvellous artistic experience. The buffet was mediocre and only the fresh salad tasted good. The food is too expensive for what we received. However the excellent artists performances made up for the poor food.The venue is stylish and has good ambience and acoustics.
