I had contacted adega Norwood In the week for a booking of a large group, I was not able to make a reservation early and could only be made at 8:45pm, keeping in mind the kitchen closes at 9:00pm, Adega Norwood was more than willing to accept my group and upon arrival starting at the car guard we received excellent service from assisting us with parking, to staff taking us to our reserved table, as well as staff members been very very friendly, food was brought out within a matter of minutes, hot, tasty, and absolutely well sauced. The added service fee on the bill was absolutely fine, because the service was impeccable, from the security guard to the manager.

The food was absolutely delicious. Although we went on a normal Wednesday night the restaurant was full & service was pretty slow. We waited about 45 minutes to get our food. Ordered at 7:30 & food arrived after 08:15. Overall a good experience just don’t go without booking in advance & if you are starving.

This is a place that is of style great decor fixtures and fitting, I went at night and it was great ,but I can really see myself going back during the day sometime as they have outside areas which makes this restaurant more like a lounge. Food was great I preferred the peri peri but great,prawns were fresh ,kingklip was excellent. I suppose in time to come the restaurant will need to make a decision in terms of where they lay with regards to patrons it seems like a vibe that suits the younger crowd and what i would think off as a chill out spot. However we were maybe 6 or 7 families yesterday with kids if you were to add a kiddies play area or something it may change the dynamics of the restaurant.

Food was delicious , service was quick and efficient even parking assistant was very courteous and understood we didn’t have change for him. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the noise from the kitchen was very loud and didn’t match the character of the restaurant.

Fully halaal. Amazing service, great food and a warm and cozy hideout nestled in the leafy suburbs of norwood. Adega is the perfect place for a quiet romantic dinner and family dinner. Food and ambiance is amazing. I love how beautiful the outdoor space is.

Had an amazing experience at this Adega. We visited on a weeknight, so it was pretty empty and the service was great. Ordered the fillet steak and a seafood platter, and both were excellent! Definitely going back for both. Have not found such good seafood and steak in a long time.

I had an amazing lunch with my friend yesterday at Adega Norwood. The seafood pasta was super creamy, my friend ordered rump and her piece of meat was done to perfection - just the way she likes it! The service was impeccable, friendly hosts and waiters. Definitely going back soon!!!

It was our first visit to Adega Norwood, I must say from the moment we entered the restaurant, we got a warm welcome from the waiters, the restaurant was so clean, neat and fresh, we decided to eat in the lounge area, we actually went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, our waiter Thanda was great,polite and helpful so pleasant & patient. 😊Everything we ordered was delish.. and well presented, he even organised little surprise for me ...some ice cream and they sang for me, it made my afternoon..❤ We felt so relaxed & comfortable being there. I definitely recommend this restaurant guys.👍.do go and check it out. Thank you Adega Norwood for making our experience so special ❤

The stuffed calamari starter was cold and side accompaniment of potato crisps was in no possible way freshly made. We asked to be seated indoors due to colder weather and was told there was no space despite tables being available even after we finished our meal. In general the family platter lacked flavour and got cold so quick due to the new plating option. On a good note, the espadada was delightful.

Had guests over from the UK, who's flight landed at 7:30pm. Needed a restaurant that was open till late to accommodate us. Called Sameer at Adega, and he immediately said he would gladly do so, even though they close at 9pm. We got the VIP treatment including the VIP room, and both the food and the service was exceptional! Not my first time eating here, and certainly won't be my last. Sameer and his team know how to treat their guests well. Thank you Adega, Joseph our waiter and Sameer and team for another memorable evening!

Really good food at a lovely revamped Adega's setting. This restaurant is Halaal, which means no alcohol/pork products. Parking is immediately available outside of the restaurant, and there appears to be provision for large groups as well.
