We've stopped here twice now and I doubt we'll be back for a third try. Both times we ordered the Happy Meals (only). First time, the burgers were so spicy that not even my husband could eat them. Second time, we tried the nuggets and same thing...way too spicy!! 🥵 It's extremely busy, so the staff do the best they can and try keep smiling through it, but digging in one meal to fill up another, and touching the food without gloves whilst doing so, is a no for me I'm afraid 😳

The poor staff don't get enough credit. I stay in harrismith and go there at least once a month. They are always friendly and the food has always been great. Never had any problems. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to serving each customer with positivity and care!

Was traveling backto gauteng and atopped there for lunch. They were just extremely busy so it took a while to get the food. The self ordering seemed to run smoothly and when we got our order everything was in order and the food was good. We did stop over during lunch time so the initial rush was a bit intense. But we sat down for lunch and it all seemed to die down around 2pm.

Location, location. Good clean facilities, friendly staff, on the few visits there haven't found it over crowded or any lengthy queues.

Very clean rest rooms and fairly fast service. I noticed that the drive through was a bit slow though. Would have rated 5 stars if I got napkins with my takeaway order and if the self-help order system was faster and had a speed-point placed at a better angle and height. The small chicken burger I ordered was haphazardly put together and lacked enough mayo. The Big Macs were up to expected standards.

Has to have been my best experience at any McDonald's in terms of quality and attention to detail on my meal. The cajun patty was cooked crispy, the mayo was central, lettuce was not falling out the burger, the tomato was perfectly red, centered, and a good thickness. It truly was exceptional, I have never had this quality and care at any fast food burger joint, and the best part is that the place was extremely busy. Will definitely be stopping there more often on my trips.

The Harrismith one stop is a great place to take a break to have a stretch break and a bite on your trip. There is a variety of food options and it is also very safe.
