The presentation of these meals are 5 star. Taste wise the chicken butter and duck were brilliant however the lamb pizza was rock hard , pity. Baked cheese cake was amazing. Good service as well.

An absolutely fantastic meal with very accommodating staff! The reservation we made was mixed up, but they put together a table within 10mins and had us ready for the evening! Staff were very attentive and friendly. The meal was sooo amazing! The ingredients were of good quality and fresh and the flavours were complimentary! Highly recommend this place!

Excellent seasonal menu at this restaurant managed by husband and wife owners. Delicious starters, mains, and desserts with very attentive service. Edit 11 May 2018: This is without a doubt our favourite restaurants in Port Elizabeth. Husband (chef) and wife (pastry chef) offer a delicious seasonal menu with fresh, locally sourced produce. The waitron staff are very attentive and knowledgable on wine pairings and the menu. The twice baked Emmental soufflé starter with bacon and chilli oil is light and fluffy, the mustard crusted rack of lamb was soft and tender, and the beef short rib was melt in the mouth and so very more-ish. The 70% dark chocolate mousse and white chocolate ice cream was delicious and very theatrical under its closh filled with cherry smoke, and the caramel fondant and vanilla ice cream was perfectly balanced and not sickly sweet. Give Muse a try - you will want to stay at your table and have dinner all over again!

Excelente presentation, the staff is incredible friendly. Their Risotto and curries were incredible good. The only recommendation will be if you want to have fillet or lamp I would recommend to go to a steak house, the fillet presentation was absolutely perfect, unfortunately my experience in regards flavor was not up to the expectation.

Finally, Value + experience and not just slop on a plate. WELL DONE! It's a treat to be served food cooked on purpose and not heated up FROM a Bidvest food or the likes bag, as is now all too common. There is a reason this is PE #1 restaurant according to trip advisor. If you like food with taste and interesting fun deserts too this is for you. If you looking for common hamburger and chips this place is not for you. Other slop shops may be better suited. Great service, great food. A real treat. It's a good EXPERIENCE Our new happy food place.

What an amazing restaurant. I can't believe it's the first time we have been here. The attention to detail on every plate is outstanding, the favours are fresh and it's not just a meal it's a complete experience. Pippa our waitress was knowledgeable and knows how to read people. Was so blown away by the tasty food. Every item had its own individual taste, the presentation was exceptional and just all round spectacular. The charcoal activated bread rolls and butter balls were a treat - looked like tiny dinosaur eggs! Because it was my birthday, I was treated to a macaroon on a bed of cream and crushed merangue 😋😋 Jason, our waiter was attentive and had good knowledge of the menu. All round great experience . Lamb shank delicious Lamb rump ok service very good We tried 3 red wine (Shiraz, merlot, pinotage) options - all of them with too much acid…not our taste Crowded restaurant but the noise was very loud…. Difficult to communicate….. They need a special ceiling to absorb the noise of the guests…

It was our first night in South Africa. Port Elizabeth is not the most welcoming city you will see, but going to Muse will definitely be a good idea - the food was really good, the waiter was lovely, the place warm and welcoming, and the prices are ridiculously cheap - we had a small salad, 2 pizzas, pasta, 2 desserts and a bottle of rose and paid 550 Rand including tip. Highly recommended :)

What a pleasant surprise! Finally a restaurant in PE that is worthwhile eating at. As a Vegetarian living in the backwards PE, it is difficult to find a restaurant that serves something to eat besides salad.
