My review is purely based on the service that I received from the gentleman working in the vitamin section (don’t know what it’s actually called). There is a gentleman that seems to be a rep for a particular brand that Dischem stocks so technically this is not Dischems review but rather the gentleman and the brand he is repping. I came in with my wife both looking for supplements for joint pain and stress relief (eg ashwanganda). The gentleman did not only explain what I should look for but rather made very good suggestions. I came in with a very vague idea and not fully knowing what I needed but he shed some knowledge and showed how well versed he is in the field and made excellent suggestions while saving me some money as well since what I was intending on buying was not only incorrect but it was also more expensive. Kudos to him…. If you could please pass on my feedback and if you could actually share his details with me so I can personally thank him once again as well.

Always had a good experience at Dischem Northgate however today I must make mention of the exceptional service and patience I received from Brigette. Thank you so much for understanding and assisting in advising on generic medication that did not require additional co payment which is a worry especially when your finances are limited and medical savings have to last 12 months.

I went to do Pap smear at dischem and I met the most humble and respectful sister her name is Sister Jaqueline Mokonyane. Keep it up sister I appreciate you so much

Oh I love this Diskem. Well stocked with the widest variety of brands to choose from. The Clinic receptionist once gave me a problem when I urgently needed a Covid test. When I called, I had been told to come in, but I actually needed an appointment. I refused to come back as I suspected I might have the virus and have co-morbidities. Thd young receptionist obviously was not well trained to make certain decisions. I went to the store manager Vincent and told him my circumstances and within seconds I was on the list to be attended to there and then. Amazing customer service and flexibility from Vincent in a friendly efficient manner. I buy a chronic expensive drug at this Diskem. After shopping around they were R200 odd cheaper than Clicks, MediRite or any other pharmacy. Excellent service. Thanks Vincent and Diskem.

They are going out of their way to assist and deliver covid scripts to everyone, even though they are overloaded their driver still made it to me the same day. I really appreciate the help, from the pharmacist to the driver. You are life savers, thank you!!
