It’s worth the drive out to Benoni (East Jozi). Pick strawberries or blueberries (when in season) then sit down at the restaurant for something to eat. Menu is limited but really delicious.

Absolutely fabulous...clean, safe and the experience for the kids is well worth the drive. Free entrance and pay for what you pick... I will be back. The deli on site had this incredible strawberry syrup, drizzled on my cheesecake later that night, hmmm. A must add to your weekend outing list.

What an amazing place!! The country kitchen deli and strawberry farm turned out to just be around the corner from us and we enjoyed it so much!! You get to pick your own strawberries and the buy what you have bought and take them home to enjoy the deliciousness. Perfectly centered, it feels like you are truly in the country side. We loved every moment. There is also an on site restuarant in the form of a food truck to give you that truly rustic feels. With a play area for the kids this is definately a great place to enjoy and relax with the family. With an easy going but gourmet menu their is so much to choose from. I would definately recommend this as a fun day out.

The venue, service and food are all excellent. Berry picking was quite fun and the curio shop had lots of fun things. This was our second visit, our first was our first lunch together and we will visit again.

Awesome experience picking strawberries and blueberries right off the plant. End result much cheaper and fresher than store bought. We will definately be back to sample the barbecue menu next time. Food looks awesome and great value. And not to forget a mention for friendly staff, thank you team!

What a little gem in the heart of Benoni! Perfect place to take the family for an outing on a sunny day! The newly opened restaurant has delicious food, some pictured here. My husband just couldn't get enough! There's a playground for the kiddos to keep them busy too. To round it all off, take the kids, or the kid in you, and go pick some berries!! We picked the most beautiful strawberries and blueberries today! All round, an awesome visit!

I'm rating Mona's a 4 because the waitron staff was all over the place.we had about 3-4 people serving us (my sister and I) and they took forever to take our food order.None of them introduced themselves. The food though was divine and the environment was so beautiful, serene, calm.i will definitely be visiting them again and I hope this time around the service will be a bit different.

What a fantastic spot. Great for the kids to pick berries and walk around. Followed by some great food and fantastic service. Hein from Smoke and Fire looked after us with some awesome speedy service, lovely drinks and some decadent desserts.

They need to do something about their kitchen and getting orders out especially at month end. Although I was quite relaxed , many were not and there were a lot of unhappy customers who waited ages for their food. Also , the presentation of the French toast was a bit disappointing... like they had run out of the toppings they offered ... rather say you cannot supply it if you dont have it.

Very pleasant outing for the family. Berry picking and decent lunches are served. There is a play area for kids and a small shop as well. Being quite popular, it seems to be very busy which is the only drawback and can hardly be faulted against despite my personal preferences.
