Food is ok. Pizzas are decent. Staff are generally friendly now that the old manager doesnt seem to be around. But I absolutely love the bingo nights that they have. It really brings a good sense of fun.

A fantastic Sunday morning 1st September 2024 at the Italian Club of Cape Town. What a marvelous group of people serving drinks and food. With a superb number of true musicians. Reminded me of the amazing Mario Alanza. What a pleasure to share in this Italian experience today. This will be my first of many visits to this club.

Depending on your expectations this place is a dump or a 'casual environment'. Loadshedding happened while we were there and things came to a standstill - no backup lights whatsoever, the only cooking dinner was the wood-fired pizza oven. Two waiters for 60+ customers meant 2+ hours for food to arrive. Food quality acceptable, generous portions. We were there for someone's party, question is, Would we choose to go there otherwise? Meh.

Impressive Sunday menu: 4 courses of authentic Italian cuisine. Meals were made celiac safe gluten free for certain family members. Friendly family vibe.

I celebrated my birthday there and myself and all of my 40 guests had a great evening. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. If you book for a special occasion definitely go with one of their set menu options. Can get noisy and very vibey on a Saturday so chat to them for a private venue if you want something more private.

Great place with amazing vibe. Saturday band is good fun. The singer/drummer is amazing, she has real talent. Food was good. Gluten free pizza bases available - the most delicious parmigiana cheese. Check it out...you won’t be disappointed

Enjoyed going there in the past. Not sure i will be returning. We were there in a big group. Were not given the opportunity to take our kids' food home, which they usually snack on and leave for leftovers. Wine list is terrible. We were forced to pay for salads for tge table as part of a group package...salad was not eaten. For a venue that is geared or big enough to take loads of people, i think it is lacking

Everything is good about this place. Restaurant that seats about 200 people, nice pizzeria. A big deli. 2 halls for functions, playpark outside. Lots of parking. Big soccer field. About 3 bars. VIP hall/ AV conference room sits about 60 people around tables. Speak to Peter who is the main man for the chefs if you want a special menu for your function. The VIP hall booking is for the day and less than R2000. I've done a few functions here and had no problems up to date

Value for money. Generous portions. Not a great area but neat inside. Had a couple arguing at a table behind us. Swearing at causing a scene. We went to sit at a different table. But made our experience unpleasant. Will go again to try pizza. They have nice specials. Friday and Saturday evening live band.

Food, waiters, ambience - all awesome. Starters - calamari and antipasto - delectable. Main meal portions are very healthy and desserts were good. All in all a lovely evening with live entertainment - dancing at a very good price. Ample parking.

Great food, great atmosphere and great entertainment. Friday nights with "Stage Fright" - I think, are great. They really get the place going and probably keep a few tequila companies in business. An awesome family outing. Well worth a visit.

New management. I plan my birthday party a month before the time. I was told to pay per chair for people coming. Also food was not up to standard. Lasagne was just tin tomatoe relish.The waiter was excellent.

Great social venue for Birthdays and events. Has pretty decent food and a wood fire oven for authentic pizzas. Two bars, one in the restaurant and the other a pub option. Also has football fields and often sees inter games.

I love the Italian club! It's a great place for a function, a celebration, a family dinner or supper for two! Friday nights are great fun with their live band covering all decades of music and the dance floor is the best way to lose the kilos from their delicious and generously portioned italian food!

Great family restaurant with good food. They have a play area for kids. The pizza is amazing and they have a Tuesday pizza special. The once a month buffet lunch is great value and food is always very good.

Bit disappointed at our last visit. The prices have always been good but seem to have risen to what the average restaurant charges. The pizza I ordered was swimming in cheese, something not normally associated with the IC; I always tell people their pizzas are the best!

Lovely Italian Republic day lunch. Main course arrived with spinach that I don't eat. Asked waiter for a side plate to take the spinach off my plate. Without asking a plate of salad arrived at the table to replace the spinach. Going the extra mile. Definitely worth visiting.

For many years on every Thursday we call Italian club our base for the start off into our games night at aloha lodge, Milnerton. Sometimes we are just a small bunch of people but often are a huge crowd hungry for pizza, pasta, prawns. The food, the service, especially of Waldo, is outstanding. He's always greeting us with a smile and gets never tired of all our special requests. You never leave hungry, the portions are worth every single cent you spent. It's a wonderful atmosphere, very family orientated and ideal for huge functions, too. Well done, Italian club! To many more Thursday nights! Your Germans!

The Italian Club has an amazing deli with fresh cheeses, olive oil, pastas and other Italian goodies to buy. The restaurant itself is not great though... expected the food to be topnotch Italian cuisine but was unfortunately left a bit disappointed.
