My fiancé arranged to have a bespoke ring made for our engagement with Mark Solomon while we were visiting Cape Town from Ireland. We were so happy with the entire experience and service, that we had our wedding rings made here also and shipped over to us for the big day which was extremely smooth & stress free. We recently had a fantastic experience with the team at Mark Solomon jewellers in Cape Town. After a romantic holiday proposal the team guided my fiancée and I through various options and styles, they were incredibly knowledgeable and we ended up having a bespoke ring made with a diamond we chose. They even sent us back to hotel with their driver and a bottle of champagne to keep on celebrating. What a lovely experience and the ring is amazing 😀

On a recent trip to Cape Town I was fortunate to work with Mark Solomon’s designer to create two pairs of earrings. Drop diamond studs and a pair of gold hoops with detachable 18 Kt gold discs with a star insignia subtly engraved on them. I arrived with a short time-line, scraps of inspiration ripped from magazines and a budget bracketed by common sense. Mark’s team spearheaded by the gracious Atiya took the spiderweb ideas I gave them and turned them into substantial pieces of ‘uniquely mine’ jewelry. My experience was characterized by efficiency, creativity, unbiased feedback, timely service and most importantly a quality result I feel deserved every cent of highly competitive pricing. It’s not often one walks into Aladdins Cave and emerges without feeling one was blinded by the light but left with little - I came away with more than I had bargained for in every respect and am very grateful to the entire team for making my visions into timeless earrings to treasure.”
