The Heavenly Bed was divine, and the breakfast buffet at Thirty7 Restaurant was mouth-watering. Conveniently located near the V&A Waterfront and Table Mountain, this hotel is ideal for business and leisure. Special shout-out to the friendly and attentive staff! We can't wait to return."
P. S.This was my second time around to this hotel after a stay in 2016. This is wonderful hotel with great staff. You feel welcome as soon as you arrive. Rooms are large and clean. Great views. Breakfast in the morning is fabulous. Served by numerous waiters always waiting to do something for you. Do not have to look for waiters, they will attend to you attentively. Evening drinks at bar were great. I loved espresso martinis. The staff in the lobby helping with valet car and baggage etc, all very professional. This hotel is definitely a very well run operation. Beats any Ritz in US.

D. H.Fantastic stay - but difficult check out day.
Really enjoyed the stay here - lovely property and staff. As a titanium member I used a SNA, to a executive suite and also really enjoyed the lounge and pool facilities. The main issue was being told to check out at 11:30 and denied the guaranteed 4pm check out. In the end we had to be moved to a basic room which was an inconvenience swap and a disappointment after using a credit to upgrade the room. Just be aware if you are expecting the late check out.

My wife and I were there on holiday, and the location, views, comfort and quality are second to none. It is a safe and quiet area, and the staff is incredibly thorough in their attention to detail. We really enjoyed the view from the lounge, and the half of the sauna's walls on the top floor are glass offering an unparalleled view while sweating out last night libations. The lounge on the top floor is excellent - it has near wrap around views of this gorgeous city; I loved going up there for a quiet coffee, watch the sun come up and shine on the table top mountain in the back. Large well equipped gym and mid sized indoor pool and great Spa area - the Sauna is especially good - on the 19th floor with fantastic views towards the waterfront direction, with large clear views through glass sides from inside the sauna. Breakfast good.
Only small grumble would be no dark beer at the bar eg Castle milk stout or Guinness, but didn't detract form stay.
Y.We started off our journey together by spending a 7 night honeymoon at The Westin 10 years ago.
Back then the hotel set such a high standard for us that we could never forget it.
It was back then that we told ourselves that when we celebrate our 10year anniversary.. we have to be back to where it all began and this visit of ours was just that!.... Us celebrating our 10years... The Westin way.
Our 3 night stay was beyond amazing. This hotel never desipoints ! From the moment you walk in, you can feel that Westin difference. Its all in the finer details at this hotel. The friendly service and warm people all around is just amazing . The breakfasts at thirty7 were beyond magnificent. Then to the luxurious 19 floor executive club with breathtaking views from wherever you are.
We loved it all.
We hope Westin will offer good rates and great offers from time to time as I will not be able to wait another 10 years to return :)
I will definitely be back for my Westin dose :)

A. A.Great hotel, spacious rooms, friendly staff and many amenities. Gym is small but open 24 hour. Breakfast is tasty. It is also well located, not far from the V&A around 20 to 15 mins walk.
Definitely will stay in here again if we come to Cape Town.

Best breakfast we had at any hotel with the best chef cooking a rare experience. A big thanks to Chesray, Melanie and the rest of the staff always going above expectations and making every visit a unique and great experience.

The respect for pandemic protocols and great cleanliness
However if I could I would stay indefinitely at the westin as we cannot find fault in service or facilities.

We received a very warm welcome and were upgraded to the Executive Floor with lounge access due to my Marriott Gold status. The rooms are spacious and well furnished. The bathroom is very large with a separate toilet and large rain shower. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired. The lounge is on the 19th floor and offers a great view of the city. The staff is overall very friendly and accommodating.

There is also a free shuttle to the waterfront every hour. The standard corresponds to 5 stars, great staff, great service and a very pleasant room with a large bathroom. Everything is clean and modern. The small outdoor pool on the 2nd floor and the indoor pool with infinity pool and sauna on the 19th floor are great. The breakfast was really good, we didn't use the restaurant. We booked the Westin at the beginning and end of our Garden Route tour. The right decision to come down.
S. V.Large hotel, skyscraper which dominates the port area from the Sky line. Large modern rooms, tidy and clean even if there is carpet almost everywhere which I don't like. Breakfast with a wide choice, both sweet and savory, some express dishes with open kitchen, centrifuged and juiced juices. The cafe service is a little slow. Convenient service at the water front which can be reached in 5 minutes. It is not usual for a reservation to guarantee a sum on the credit card. I often leave my card details but almost never a pre-authorization for a decent amount is made. Overall a good experience, a quality and comfortable hotel.

Everything works and is of very good quality. ||- Location: Hotel has an excellent location. It is close to a City Sightseeing bus stop (Red Bus) which has a very extensive itinerary. Easy transportation to all corners of the city. It is close to the V&A Waterfront, a shopping and leisure center with a shopping mall and several restaurants on the pier. ||- Extra Services: There is a van that takes you to the V&A Waterfront. This van leaves the hotel every hour. This same van also picks people up from the V&A Waterfront every hour. It's free and runs from 7am until 11pm.
G.Hotel is centrally located; Both City and V&A Waterfront within a few minutes walk. Good bus connection to the airport from Civic Center (10 minutes walk).||Booked a room with access to the executive lounge on the 19th floor; I can only recommend it. In addition to evening snacks and drinks, breakfast is also possible there.||All in all a good hotel, sometimes very full due to the congress center opposite and with little personal atmosphere. The entire staff in the Executive Lounge was a commendable exception.
