Nice Hotel, we visited from Germany as a group of 20 people. The people at the reception are very very kind. Rooms are clean, but things like water focets in the sink were loose (can still operate normally).

This is one hotel that really go the extra mile to make your stay welcoming, and super comfortable. I felt like I've been friends with the staff since ever. Lovely neat and comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast with an excellent team. We walked almost to all restaurants, shops and attractions. It is well located as part of the stunning architecture of the Cape Dutch style- the 2nd oldest town in South Africa.

What I like about this hotel is the staff and that it was built in 1706, what stories those walls could tell. The staff could not have done enough for us. Breakfast was included and had a good variety of buffet and hot choices. The mini croissants are delicious. Laundry was sorted, and one of the staff members took my shorts to a seamstress to have the hems fixed. The room was really small but cosy. It's a pity that the rooms have been modernized so much that it's lost its real historical look and feel. And I was quite disappointed with guests complaining about the load shedding. Come on people, it's not the staff's fault! Thank you "uncle" Richard for helping with our baggage.

This place is great! It is not cheap, but it is totally worth it for what you get. the food is amazing! Every plate of food looks like an art piece, and is prepared of the finest ingredients. The atmosphere is also very friendly, with the occasional live piano music.

Stayed nearby so decided to stop here for breakfast. It's ok. Nice quality food, but slow service (even though the staff are friendly enough), and average coffee. A bit pricey for what you get i.m.o. You won't hate it.... But you won't love it either.

We had a room on the ground floor of this hotel. The beds and shower were fine. The hotel is perfectly located close to shops and cafes. Stellenbosch is safe and fun. The hotel has a nice indoor terrace and a beautiful terrace at the restaurant on the street side. Breakfast and dinner on site were excellent. You don't have to walk far for food and wine. Good and friendly staff.

A cozy hotel. Very good restaurant. We had a delicious meal there. The breakfast was also great. |And they are incredibly helpful people. They arrange everything for you. We had left our bag with passes in the museum. They immediately took action at the reception. Luckily the bag was still there. Do you want a day out? They will help you with reservations. They are also all very friendly.

The location was beautiful and was on the most beautiful street in Stellenbosch. Our apartment had a very nice view of the street, with a balcony. The apartment itself was very spacious, although it was a bit outdated, but it was not dirty and we had a great time here. The service was not special, but certainly not bad either. It just wasn't very personal, but that was to be expected because it is a larger hotel with many rooms. We definitely recommend this hotel for a few nights in Stellenbosch.

Friendly reception, luggage was stored until check-in at 2 p.m. Then apartment 6. Upgrade to a room with 2 bedrooms, which we didn't want at all. Someone was probably quicker than us and took our original room. Big enough for a family with 2 children, air conditioning in the living room. This keeps the bedroom stuffy. The air conditioning located under the window and the ventilation of the hotel kitchen as well as the employees make an incredible noise. At some point the ventilation and employees finish work and the air conditioning continues to roar. Moving into the 2 bed children's room. Now people are screaming and bawling in the open passage beneath the apartment. Better than the rattling air conditioning! |Not a good night. When I mention that I didn't sleep well because of the noise, I'm politely ignored and nothing happens.|Well then. So if you are sensitive to noise, you should avoid this aging, slightly dirty hotel.|For the others, enjoy.

What can I say, very nice, located in a very central position. Everything at your fingertips. Very kind and friendly staff. Clean and tidy premises. In the room there is a TV, fridge. Kettle for coffee and tea, there is no heater.. I give 4 stars only because I have no other comparisons and I always think there could be something better..

The hotel has the great advantage of being in the center of the city, so you can easily get around on foot, especially as it has a garage, included in the price. The structure is a little outdated but has been renovated. The room was a bit cramped and not very quiet as it overlooked a small internal courtyard but the bathroom was completely redone. Good breakfast. The attached restaurant is good.

It is a hotel built in a very old building, if I remember correctly it dates back to the 17th century. Notwithstanding this, it has been recycled and modernized in such a way that it has all the services of a modern hotel without losing the charms of its historic building. The rooms are comfortable and comfortable, and the service and attention are excellent. Breakfast is very good. It is very well located a few meters from the University and the Sports Training Center.

We had a really nice stay. The rooms were clean, the staff was always nice and attentive and the breakfast was extensive and also very tasty. The location is not only very safe in the center of Stellenbosch but also surrounded by great cafes, bars and restaurants for both day and evening.

The location is in the center of town, making it easy to access restaurants and shops. This historic hotel is over 300 years old and has good room conditions and parking is available. The restaurant Kitchen in the hotel is also very good. But breakfast is ordinary

And I am going to||share with you how I have felt||after this visit to South Africa at the||Hotel Stellenbosch Hotel +27/0)218873544.||What stood out during the instance was||first the kindness, second the ||cleaning, and then the food. Everything||outstanding. The Hotel has character and is||very well located.||||But what really caught my||attention and I leave with my heart touched||positively is the determination of||service and help that this team|| demonstrates. An example is that I had not received the PCR test that I had taken 18 hours before and I needed it to be able to fly back to Spain. The manager of the hotel, Jo-Anne Wesso, personally called the clinic and insisted on getting the PCR (I had misplaced it), then she printed it for me and the colleague who was traveling with me, too. |printed our tickets.||||When you travel you appreciate much more the||kindness and kindness of people who||are truly kind.||||So for me it is a 10. We have to highlight the great impression that the location, the friendliness and the exquisiteness and good taste in the decoration as well as in the attention they gave us made. The hotel is centrally located in a safe area, parking options are excellent in this case a garage under the hotel. In the evening you can walk on the street. Staff very friendly, good breakfast and spacious rooms. WiFi mediocre (maybe because we were on the third floor). There are plenty of restaurants in the area, as well as coffee shops, but the restaurant in the hotel is also excellent with good service.

It's an old building, and it's quite quaint. It is also located in the center of Stellenbosch, making it very convenient for dining and shopping. There were no problems with the service either. You can also use the internet for free (although you will need to obtain a 2-hour ID and password from the front desk each time). |The bad thing is that it is an old building, so the regular type rooms are small. The bathroom was difficult to use. There is also no bathtub. Also, the hotel's underground parking lot is small, and if you're unlucky, another car will be parked right behind your parked car. If you are leaving your car early in the morning, it is a good idea to let the front desk know.

It is in a central region close to the main points of the city. |The apartments are good and despite being on the street side, they are not noisy as the city stops very early and everything is very quiet.|The staff service is very good. Everyone is very attentive and tries to do their best to serve us well.|The hotel offers parking, which is a little tight but is good.|It's worth it, especially for the location. Without much luxury with great value for money.

We spent two nights at the Stellenbosch Hotel over Christmas and then a week later for yet another night. The hotel is comfortable, we were with our baby and they gave us rooms on the third floor (admittedly without an elevator for the last landing) but the rooms there are larger. |We will keep very good memories of the breakfast which was succulent and varied but above all we were very well received by the morning team who even looked after the baby while we had a quiet lunch! Thanks everyone!

After four nights at the hotel, it almost felt sad to leave, the atmosphere was so homely and the service perfect. The integrated restaurant, Stellenbosch Kitchen, offers a good morning meal, a slightly larger selection of bread would still give an extra edge. The proximity to other restaurants makes it easy to find variety if you would like to try menus other than the hotel restaurant's own.

We chose this hotel without knowing much about its location and we couldn't have done better. In the middle of the town, with several options to eat. We took an apartment, the facility has an older decor but the beds are great. Breakfast was not included in our stay, we ate at the JAVA restaurant located below the hotel and it was great.
