What a beautiful blast from the past! Old school really is cool. Decor is straight up vintage but beautifully maintained and painstakingly clean. I would honestly eat off the floor. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Family atmosphere. Great place to stop for the night and rates very reasonable with a bar and restaurant available.

Friendly staff, the free wifi in the lounge, secure parking, clean and tidy old school rooms, aircon in the room for heat as it was very cold at the time of my stay and easy to find off the main road. The only drawback was that there were students staying in the room above me and they were very noisy, so much so that I had to complain about it at the front desk. Even then it took a while before the students calmed down. Way past 10pm. It's for this reason that I rate Hotel Oasis a 3. This is an alternative choice if you cannot find a suitable guesthouse.

Oh boy what an awesome surprise when we decided to eat at Hotel Oasis. 3 Cource meal for less than a meal at any other place. Had soup and it was great. Had the leg of lamb, chicken pie and veggies.. Awsome and then, the show stopper, the best Malva pudding I have ever had. Oh my word. Just make a booking and dine here. You will never ever eat at any place ever again. If I should live here I would eat here everytime. Affordable, delicious food. Thanks Oasis for the best meal we have had.

Very very outdated decor, but clean. Beds are comfortable, shower good. Does the job in providing a good night's rest. Walking distance to some nice restaurants.

After we broke down on the highway 20k after buafordwes we got help from a towing service they took us to Oasis hotel where we got stranded for 3 days. But for this 3 days the owner and staff at Oasis was the best they welkom us like family the best people ever best service. They gave us a spot to work on the car and they went the extra mile to make sure we are okay. I will definitely visit them on my why to capetown next time huge thanks to all of Oasis staff and owners. We are on our why home jhb

Friendly service, food was excelent and more than enough. Suggestion maybe try and change bathrooms to shower toilet and basin not only to save water but also for space. Toilet and bath are very close together.

Very old style ... Very cheap, not the cleanest place at all as there was hair in one of our beds, decor, 1970's, but good for a one night stay when passing through

The worst hotel I have been in my life. We have been robbed during the night, cash and cell phones gone! And they claim to have 4 guards. The owner did not want to talk about it, he just said: It is Africa. Air condition was noisy, there have not been bars on the windows

It was very nice. Thank you Uncle Tommy from the bar. Nothing better than a cold beer after 1000km. You made our night. Rosy in the dining room you are an asset to any place. You 2's service is great.

Not fancy, but 100% value for money. Very nice clean and well located near shops in the center of town.||||No luxuries. Very good value for money. Clean and neat. Location is good. Close to shops. Staff were friendly. Unit 16 was equipped with air conditioning.

Stayed overnight at Oasis on the night of 25 August on the recommendation of friends. My wife and I were received with Karoo cordiality, we were allocated a room that opened onto a beautiful roof garden full of succulents and shrubs. Wonderful to see there and see the sun set. Dinner in the old dining room was fragrant and earthy....leg meat, chicken pie, vegetables...appetizer and dessert too. Breakfast was traditional bacon and eggs with the most flavorful mince ever! Uncle Tommie in the ladies bar was a treat. It was fun, and relaxing, and EXCELLENT value for money. Would not stay anywhere else again. THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
