R. M.When we arrived, we got a warm welcome by the owners. We enjoyed a coffee while they were getting our rooms ready - we got an early check-in, thank you for that!! We got some great recommendations like the market on Oranjezicht which we really loved. Staff is amazing and so kind and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, with lovely rooftop views. We felt very safe, also to park our car because of the police station. Would totally recommend! Hope to see you next time :)

M. B.I stayed at Casa del Sonder for almost a week at the beginning of December. The rooms were huge and the shower was always warm. Additionally, the cafe connected to the BnB was delicious and you can charge any purchases to your room. The location of Casa Del Sonder is near the Bo Kaap- which is filled with a lots of history. I'm so glad I stuck with my instincts to stay at Casa del Sonder and can't wait to go back!

Our stay here was great. The rooms are decorated with a very thoughtful touch, staff is very attentive to our needs and quick to answer our needs.
Be aware of the local muezzin calls to prayer early in the morning, but it only lasts for 5 minutes and you quickly fall back asleep if you were even awaken by them.
A. D.Incredible location and comfortable stay in Cape Town with bars, restaurants, coffee shops and attractions in walking distance. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The rooftop pool and lounge is definitely a winner, with an honesty bar available for beers and wine.
T. S.We had a great stay at Casa Del Sonder. Michelle and Chase are super hosts! Not only did they pick us up from the airport which was super convenient, they helped us out when in trouble, and have been super friendly alltogether. Breakfast on the rooftop with views to table mountain was fabulous, and the whole place is clean, stylish and well located between Bo-Kaap, Waterfront and Downtown. I’d choose them again next time.

R. S.Very nice inn with very good coffee and a nice terrace on the roof. The owner was very friendly and gave lots of good tips. The house has a lot of vintage charm, which we really liked. The area felt very safe because of the police station just opposite.
K.We were received by the owner. She didn't really radiate that she was happy that there were new guests. We met her in the morning but were barely noticed. Didn't feel like a warm and friendly welcome.
Furthermore, the hotel was nice and cozy, but the air conditioning in the room did not work properly (valve mechanism was broken, so the cold air did not come out properly).
Had a delicious breakfast in the coffee shop next door (same owner).

K.Very friendly welcome from Marine. Although the rooms on the first floor are larger, they are very small and the bathroom is even smaller. The bed is very good. Unfortunately there is currently a construction site in front of the house. Even the mosque with the 5 a.m. call is not pleasant during the holidays. ||The location is very good as everything can be reached on foot. ||Unbending to visit the Café Africa restaurant.||The breakfast was not very extensive, i.e. not commensurate with the price.
A. V.A 6 room hotel very centrally located with good facilities and a great breakfast. The hostess Marina tried very hard to organize everything and support us. The 3 employees are super nice and helpful and always in a good mood. Great 😀! We will definitely come back. South Africa is always worth a visit.

B.As soon as we arrived at the Lodge we were very warmly received by Dimitri, who welcomed us with a delicious pure fruit juice and showed us on a map of the city several tour options, how to book tickets online and gave us all the necessary attention. The hotel does not have a reception, you take the key. The room is very beautiful and comfortable, excellent bathroom and reasonable bed (a little too soft for our standards). The most interesting thing is that you have a vision for Table Mountain. The wifi in the bedroom fluctuates a bit (general African standard) and is better in the living room. You get a complimentary bottle of white wine!!! The breakfast is very good, with fruits, cheeses, granola, cold cuts and several hot options prepared to order by very friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. For two days coffee was served on the upper terrace, which houses a small pool and we were able to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain and part of the city. Through the Lodge we met driver Andrew from Africa Afrika, who was very kind and did great tours with us. We loved the experience and would definitely come back!!!

The rooms were always neatly tidy when we returned.|The lodge is also centrally located and is the ideal starting point for excursions.|The only downside is that you may be a bit bothered by the noise from the mosque in the morning.
