M. H.Quick get away trip, turned into a relaxing night away. From booking, checking in and departure absolutely excellent service. Rowan is an absolute gem. His bubbly and friendliness just makes you feel right at home. Well maintained chalets..the private and enclosed hot tub also divine. Lots of additional amenities which can be enjoyed. A lovely spa for added relaxation. Not forgetting Gemma (dog) who also came and said hi and accepts belly rubs as payment :-)
M. P.5 mountain lodge was every thing we could have hoped for on our anniversary getaway. Rowen made us feel welcomed and accommodated throughout our stay and the owner Roger and his dog Gemma were lovely company. All the facilities made our stay that much more special spending our days in the pool and nights in the jacuzzi and steam room. The spa treatment on the premises made a morning of relaxing super convenient. The location made it incredibly easy to enjoy local hikes, shopping and attend wine tastings all a stones throw away. This was great value for money!
H. S.Friendly staff and really great views makes this location very appealing. Beautifully maintained garden with loads of shade areas for the well-known heat waves during the scorching summer days and a clear cool down swimmingpool makes for an extra attraction for you to consider this venue. Traveling from there is not ideal but could be a nice getaway for a couple or group. Sleeps 17 people when full capacity is met and could be great for weddings and all sorts of functions.
J. B.Fantastic place to stay. We stayed in a lovely room that had its own braai and fire pit area. Room was well equipped, grounds were lovely for a walk and there was the sweetest little dog called Gemma that loved a belly rub!
Rowan was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed at the lodge. He was friendly, attentive and truly gave us a great experience.

F. C.This is a perfect quick stop over accommodation en route to your destination. It is clean and comfortable. |In my opinion it is a good, basic 3 star facility but definitely not a four star establishment. |The establishment has good potential but feels a neglected.
j.What a gem of a place - a little paradise at the foot of Bains Kloof Pass. Rowen and his team could not do more for you. A fantastic break away from the madness that is life. At one with nature in a beautiful vineyard and we were invited to join a family braai. Happy days. The trip up Bains Kloof is marvellous but we took out dog to Tweede Tol for the walk up to the waterfall but sadly it is not dog friendly due to the wildlife. At the foot of 5 Mountains there is a kennels who may take your dog for a day if you want to enjoy the walk to the waterfall (2km) or cross under the road to swim in the river. Just outside 5 Mountains is the Oude Wellington Vineyard well worth a visit and if you like croissants go to 55 Croissants in Wellington. Up the BK Pass when u drop over the other side is a very friendly Bush Pub where GodKnows looked after us wonderfully and 5 or 6 km's after that a lovely gin wine tasting spot called Monks that does perhaps the best charcuterie board in WP. Also while in Wellington do call into Jacaranda Wine Farm which is the smallest vineyard in WP (Western Province) run by the lovely Rene and his wife. It is down to earth just sharing wines with a lovely couple without bells and banners. And their two dogs and their cats and chickens. Rowen is the host with the most at 5 Mountains - you will not be disappointed.....
L. S.The room was perfectly neat with crisp white linen and a beautifully decorated room to celebrate our anniversary. Although we were really looking forward to some spa treatments we were notified on the day of arrival that the spa treatments were not available for the weekend. This was really dissapointing because we were not informed about this when we booked at 5 Mountains. Kettle in room was faulty and not replaced. Warm towel rails were also out of order.
Breakfast was good.
Hostess, Erica, was warm and friendly.

T. E.Fantastic! Beautiful gardens, beautiful and comfortable rooms, hot tubs - amazing! Such friendly and hospitable staff and hosts. And the best part - they allow dogs - they treated our pooch like royalty. Definitely recommend.

o.Well-furnished wooden cottage with a veranda, embedded in a large, beautiful garden. Hospitable, personal atmosphere. You won't want to get up after breakfast, served outdoors if you wish. ||Pleasant pool.||Overall an oasis to feel good.

We were very pleased with our massages, thank you to the beautiful lady's who made us feel so comfortable, and amazing service. Your magic hands did exactly what we needed. The manager of the place was very friendly and helpful.
You will definitely see us again
Only thing is would change is the prices of the massages , way to cheap for the level of service the provide. We loved the place and the service.
