Spent a night at Libby’s after riding 800km on a motorcycle from Jhb. The rwception when I got there were fantastic and madw me feelat home immediatly. The room was clean and very comfortable with a nice hot shower. Breakfast the next day was 5 star!

Excellent family cottage. Aircon in both the main bedroom and lounge/ kitchen area where kids can sleep. Well equipped kitchen/dining area with open plan lounge area with dstv. We stayed during a hot time inside the cottage the two Aircon units made a huge difference. Our kids absolutely loved the pool. Location of Libby's Lodge is excellent as you very close to the mall. Parking is off the main road and secured. We will most definitely be using Libby's Lodge for future stays in Upington.

From the outside you have no idea what you see inside the walls.|It starts with the parking lot, which is safely behind a fence. Then the reception. As if we had been coming there for years. So warm and she knew exactly who we were. Not at all like guests who "only" stayed one night.|Then to the room. What an incredible arrangement of the whole thing. A garden with plants everywhere and a swimming pool. Wonderful to just walk around, and so neat and tidy. The room didn't seem that big from the outside, but when you enter you immediately see that there is more than enough space for two large suitcases and hand luggage. It has been thought through, such as a rack for small luggage, a desk with a good lamp. Even rechargeable lamps in connection with load shedding. The bathroom is small but spacious enough to wash and shower and everything works well. And after more than two weeks in a national park: wonderfully soft towels. The beds are also so comfortable. We slept wonderfully, but it was a pity that we had to go to the airport early the next morning. It would have been possible to sleep in, but unfortunately that was not possible.|Despite the early time, there was a full breakfast.||All in all a pleasure to be here. We already know that if we are in Upington again we will definitely stay there.

The self-catering where we were was spacious enough for 4 women for a short time. The bathroom too cramped and not wheelchair friendly at all. It was clean and was serviced every day with very friendly staff. Would have liked a wall plug baby a mirror for drying hair. The aircon was a big plus and bonus if you are not used to Upington's heat
