I had a lovely stay at De Herberg for three nights. The room was very spacious with a modernized look, clean and comfortable and well equipped. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The garden is lovely with lots of animal statues to discover. The menu offers a variety of meals which are excellently prepared, delicious and unbelievably priced. A highlight for me was that the staff seems really happy to work there. All the staff members where always genuinely friendly and I often heard them laughing joyfully. I definitely recommend De Herberg for great service, comfort an value for money.

What a lovely stay. The frontdesk staff is highly trained and qualified. They made me feel like part of the family. Extreamly friendly fast profesional service. They serve dinner aswell as breakfast. You can even have it delivered to your room. Rooms are very spacious and of high end. Nice and ckean. They will defenitly see me again.

After a few awful guesthouses in Kimberley the Herberg Guesthouse in De Aar was amazing... Excellent food, warm friendly service, clean beautiful rooms perfect for families with everything you need and a lovely garden. I would recommend this guesthouse to everyone.

We booked one of De Herbert's apartments via Airbnb as our stopover while travelling from Durban to Cape Town. The place was spotless, and our furbaby was allowed, there was even a garden for him to use. Definitely going to visit again

We spent a weekend with my wife. We came back in love with the place. Everything impeccable, orderly and with excellent attention. The gardens are beautiful, and taught us to admire the beauty of South African flora. Highly recommended!

Great place to spend the night or just relax for a weekend. Everything you need in very well-equipped, clean self-catering units. There is also a delicious restaurant with the tastiest potato chips (slap chips) that I have eaten in a long time. Relax in the lovely coolness of the garden with your loved ones while the children keep themselves busy with interesting things in the garden. We had a great time. Thank you very much Tannie Francionette (owner), you carried us on your hands!
