Awesome stay. 6 x Adults. Stayed for a week. We were pleasantly surpriced by the beautiful rooms and guesthouse as we did not pay much at all for our stay. We were suppose to only book in at 14:00 but arrived earlier and they allowed us to book in. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. They even send us updates during our stay of when loadshedding will be. They will definitely see us again!

Highly recommend The Oak. Very professional, clean and friendly. Facilities are excellent. Ideal location. They went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Usually afraid of dogs, but loved the energy of the two. Its more than home away from home.

I stay in a lot of hotels, guest houses and B&Bs. You will not find a better home from home. The rooms are spotless, the rusks and chocolates were delicious. Anika is an amazing host along with the 2 Schnauzers who want to play. Really a great place to stay. Thank You

An amazing place to stay. Well situated close to shops, the University and everything you may need. Its a well oiled machine, clean and tidy with 2 friendly dogs who add to the unique ambiance of the guest house. The staff are friendly, welcomimg and accomodating, who try and meet their guests needs as best as possible. If you are ever in Potch and you need a place to.stay, I would recommend you ring the Oaks first.

a 110 year old building housing a great guest house. Great location if the NWU campus is your destiny. No food service but price per night more than compensates for that. Excellent value for money.
