We ended up at The Park Lodge after arriving in Pretoia only to find out at 8 pm that the electricity had been out for 5 days at the hotel we'd had a reservation at. The Park Lodge has been recently renovated, it's clean, safe and the staff bends over backward for their guests. So glad we ended up here and if possible I'll always stay here when visiting the area.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel allowed us to check-in super early and check-in was hassle-free. The room was very clean and although it's located near a busy road, the traffic noise wasn't that bad. If you use an Uber/Bolt, ask the hotel security to let them in since they can't collect or drop-off along the street or by the gate as there are taxi's parked nearby, and they are often subjected to harassment.

Park Lodge hotel is a 3 Star hotel located at Thambo Sehume street-Pretoria near Manhattan hotel. The hotel has great ambience but the rooms were not as good as I expected. The room I was offered had a shower head too small with very high pressure, kitchen tap loose and almost getting disengaged, the towels turned color and a bit old for a place with such great external ambience. The place was also noisy as room offered was overlooking the parking zone and situation was made worse as I occasionally listened into phone conversations of my neighbor. On a good note, the place is strategically located and you can simply walk to town or take a walk in the park adjacent to this place. My special thanks go out to Lindo (hope I got the name right!) at the reception. If there is any valid reason I would choose to be a return visitor at this premise it would be this lady’s great customer care and not what is up for offer. Well done Lindo, your building the brand of Park Lodge!

My stay at The Park Lodge Hotel was amazing, it always is! From the very beginning back in 2016 when I had my first weekend away with Bae, we stayed at The Park Lodge Hotel and it was amazing, this year Is even better! Always clean! Smelling really well, the most amazing friendly stuff that feel like friends or even family. The chef was very nice, Obaken his name is. He even served us a complementary pudding. The new update done to the hotel and the personalised branding on the necessities we may use just tops it off. The best place to stay at a very affordable in Pretoria is The Park Lodge Hotel! You will never go wrong. Oh and not to forget, the Fries (chips)were amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

I sleep here every weekend. They have great breakfast, their rooms are clean, friendly staff, great service all in all. Nothing beats this hotel in Pretoria in terms of value-for-money.

Very pleasant stay in Pretoria Center. Clean rooms, nice beds, safe and secure, WiFi available, taxi service available had a nice meal and breakfast... and absolutely great staff.
