Great value for money. Staff is very friendly and always willing to help. With the water crisis in Johannesburg, they went out of their way to make it as comfortable as possible. Will definitely recommend.

Room was great, clean and stocked with everything you need. Staff extremely friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Would just suggest maybe putting sheer curtains up in the rooms next to the pool, so that other people can't see into the room.

We stayed here for a week in 2014. Was with my parents. Dad was ill and was being seen at a nearby hospital. We loved the place. We were from Kenya but felt right at home at birch tree cottage. We have fond memories of the place. Highly recommend.

Lived nearby for 25 years and drove past almost daily, never took much notice.WOW! what a little gem of a place!, lovely room, with all details covered from tea and coffee☕ to the shampoo. James the manager warm and welcoming and Wisdom the breakfast preparer and waiter just great guys. Wish other places had such great staff.🍾🎉

Our stay say was awesome. Sister Ester welcomed us with warm hands, breakfast was amazing, the place was beautiful with a swimming pool. The service was great. Thank you Birch Tree staff members.

This is the one of the best bnbs ive ever been too. Service is 100%, The place is neat and tidy, everything is clean even the pool is spotless. Really worth every cent.
