This is one of the most special places in Joburg. You'd do yourself a disservice not to stay here. Comfy beds, AMAZING breakfast, and a truly exceptional and caring staff. This was my third stay over a few years and there is no other place I would ever consider. They are truly dedicated to first class service; willing, ready, and able to help with anything from transport to tours to restaurant recommendations.

Fantastic rooms and great value for money. The owners were incredibly accommodating to my needs (very late check-in and baggage storage), and the breakfast was sumptuous. Beautiful view of the koppies out the window, and a quick walk up the protected alley straight onto 7th!

Just one word ... Excellent. Don't travel through JHB without visiting. Ideal for staying over, having breakfast & other meals. Also a spacious area for meat and eat. Enjoy real Melville/JHB hospitality.

A guesthouse such as we would like them all to be. Warm welcome by Annemie and Elroy who have the well-being of their visitors at heart. After a charming evening around a glass of wine, peaceful night and discovery upon waking up of a charming garden and breakfast or rather THE breakfast! Delicious bread and vetkoek, few bakeries in France do it as well! Very helpful staff, this last night in South Africa concludes this stay with a bang

The guest house with a beautiful garden, delicious breakfast, individual service and great views is unique. From there you can reach the many restaurants in Melville on foot, but the guest house is still in a very quiet location. |Not to forget: The boss personally bakes fresh bread. You feel like you're at home

The B&B is located in the rather tranquil Melville district. My room was simple but spacious and equipped with everything you need: a refrigerator, kettle (along with instant coffee and tea), a shower (inside the room), a separate toilet, and a small electric heater. I brought my own hairdryer and adapter. The B&B is quiet and safe, with the window screened. I slept like a log... Breakfast is served in the "living room," and special requests are happily fulfilled! A staircase shortcuts the route to 7th Avenue and puts you right in the middle of a street lined with cafés, restaurants, and small shops. Very nice! To start with, there's a small Wi-Fi connection (additional connections can be purchased), which works very well in the room. Unobtrusive, charming, simple, and very nice—I would stay there again if I were in Joburg!

A very attractive b&b. After the rather inaccessible-looking front door you enter a cozy terrace and a surprising building. Warm welcome. Beautifully decorated room with a roll top bath. Delicious breakfast in a cozy dining room. Close to restaurants. Nice that you can park that car in the garage.
