If you are lucky enough to find this place available for your stay, book it! Don't think twice. The best thing, other than the fabulous decor, lovely hosts, beautiful little garden, pet friendly attitude, fully equipped kitchen and cozy furnishings, is the fact that the owners have done what few other guest house owners have done. They have taken the time and expense to Eskom-proof the place. I barely even notice the loadshedding, the lights stay on, the water works, you're barely aware that the power is off here. That, to me, is worth 10 times what they charge to stay here. Especially traveling for work with two dogs, this place is like a little slice of normality for us. 100% worth every cent.

Really nice and quiet place. Beautiful decor and great service. Loved the breakfast. We had to make a booking for a work colleague on really short notice and they really went out of their way for us. Would go back anytime

Electric blankets & extra blankets were available. Rooms were clean and neat. Stuff ladies were always nice and greeted you with a smile. Wifi is available for free. Place felt secure.

They seemed unprepared for us. The owner seemed disinterested. The two rooms we had didnt have aircon so the owner supplied a portable aircon but had to set it up. No shampoo or soap in the showers. The place was Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good but service was slow. The yoghurt was served still in the container, could have been in a bowl. The juice served out of its box should have been in a jug or decanter. Feel there could be improvements made.

Very beautiful place, hospitality was amazing & after we told the owner that we we need to leave for work early and wont be able to make breakfast he packed us a cooler box full of goodies! Amazing I would recommend anyone looking for a B&B in Welkom or surrounding areas to check in at 51 on Church. ******
