Enjoyable visit, very busy, plently stalls and activities on the last show hosted on the iconic Royal Agricultural Grounds for well over 60 years. The property has since been sold. 😢 😭

Absolutely entertaining for both adults and kids. We attended after -+ 20 years and a lot has changed for the better. From ziplines, bungee jumping, dodgem cars, astrology/numerology expert to various halls selling home, car and personal items. Agricultural vehicles, animals and equipment were a site to see as well. Also tents selling cell phone accessories, bags, belts, shoes and clothing. Highlights for us were the fun fair rides, zipline over the river, camel rides, snake park, and astrology/numerology attraction (Nikhil Gulati).

It was a wonderful day spend with Mrs David at the Witness Garden show. Lots of stand with crafts, plants, bonsai trees, fashion, products and foods. There was a dog show, 4x4 track together with a working with work experience.

Always love the atmosphere, the stands, the arena events, the livestock. Glad there is an online ticket choice, so much more convenient. However...once you have been to one royal show, the next is the same old same old. Still love it though.

Visited the royal show, and it was definitely a great show to go to. Well organized, well laid out, excellent variety of Stalls, loads of choices for food, coffee, snacks and sweets. There were so many great events planned for each day, from monster cars to dog shows. The halls with rabbits, birds and chickens were wonderful to see. There was good security and traffic police around. I found the food hall to be filled with a number of different delicacies. It is a pet friendly show, so it's a Great place to bring your pooch for a walk around. All in all, one of the better shows to visit.

First time attender and I absolutely loved it!! So many little stores to go and visit with a variety of amazing things like flippen painting canvases, cars, tractors to fun fair rides, snakes, sheep, food , live music and the freaking list goes on and on! Unfortunately I didn't take any photos today, but tomorrow I'll take some and post a few! And BTW, they will be here next weekend aswell!!

Enjoyed tge show. One queue for credit cards, approximately 5 for cash and one for online booking. Try your best to book online. Ample parking available across the road from the venue although it isba long walk to the venue. Lots of stalls on your. Quite a large event. Was extremely busy during the day. Relaxed vibe. Did not come across much entertainment for the kids. Nevatheless, it was a nice day out with the family. First time that I attended the event. I believe that this will be the last Royal show. I was glad to have attended.

This is a great venue for weddings. Parking is a problem though. Else, the setup is great. In fact multiple events happen, and we dint even know. Its also located on the main road, so its amazing. Bathroom facilities require more changing room type of things, to cater for people who would want to get dressed there.

Great event went there on Umgeni Steam Railway what a way to travel. There was so much to see we ran out of time I think we need 2 days to see all the events. Loved seeing all the craft work and the prizes they had been awarded. Great experience well worth going too.

The Royal show isn't what it once was. The music shows on the Saturday on the next Sunday aren't too bad. Not really anything nice to eat. The grounds have other shows though which aren't too bad

The Natal midlands woodworkers guild have monthly meetings in the Craft Hall. Always informative, if you are interested in working with wood , wood turning , toy making, or general carpentry, amateur or seasoned craftsmen male or female young or old all are welcome. Every second Tuesday of the month.

The place needs to be invested in, take it into the future by developing it to become world class. It is an importance venue for the Capital City of KZN... but you would not be able to tell by its current state.

The royal Showgrounds, on the banks of the Dorpspruit is a venue like no other. With many shady trees it is an exhibition centre with great potential- there are many open -air and undercover spaces. It has a seasoned, historic atmosphere, much treasured by its PMB residents, past and present.

The Royal Show Grounds in May is a staple for every Maritzburger but people come from far and wide to experience the Shows. The venue is perfect for the event and well maintained.

It is a showground. Once a year.it is the Royal Agricultural Show. During the rest of the year it is utilized for other purposes. The Royal Show is worth a look
