We had Sunday lunch here on 10 November 2024.We loved the atmoshere here so much, in fact we planned to have our wedding here in 2019, but we won a wedding to have the venue somewhere else.The food was really lovely.The lamb was perfectly cook as well was the spinach parcels, sweet potatoes and roast potatoes, we did feel the two course meal needed at least a vegtable though.The food is brought to the table in platters, which make it feel like home cook food that you are sharing which is really nice, provided everyone eats the same meal.The venue is really rustic and nice atmoshere, with fairly lights all over making it magical, I would highly recommend this venue and dinning experiance, as that is what it felt like.There is also a play area for the kids just outside the venue.

What can I say? Words can not describe the beauty and tranquil setting at this amazing venue. Had a fabulous fun and funky 50th birthday here. Family and friends complimented this lovely venue. Staff were excellent. Very professional service. Loved every minute. Need to plan something there very soon.

What a beautiful venue! We had Sunday lunch on 24March. We ve NEVER had such perfectly cooked fillet steak!!! The roast pototoes were amazing and the side dishes were deliciously. Dessert was chocolate brownies and vanilla ice cream..... sublime. Attentive service from staff. All in all..... we ll go back there. SOON!

Lovley venue and ambience for the family. We had a Sunday lunch there. The food was good. Best thing was the butternut and pecan pie!! The meat advertised as rib eye can be a bit misleading...I'd just say it was standard roast beef. Otherwise worth the value!

We went to Nice to Meat You today, because of a previous positive experience. Today was the opposite. I had the impression of skimpiness (we were a group of 6 and the bowls with food were barely enough for five people) and although the sweet potatoes were amazing, the meat today was not of a high quality - definitely not what we expected based on our previous experience and not good value for money. It will be hard to convince us to return to this restaurant. The price of the meal compared to what we were served today is not justifiable. Hopefully this was a once-off disappointment and not the trend. UPDATE: The proprietor of Nice to Meat You, Katryn Painter, reached out to us and asked if we would allow them to make it up to us. On 11 June my wife and I went to have lunch at Nice to Meat you. Not only did they make up for the previous experience, but they exceeded our expectations by far. (Is it possible to give a restaurant more than five stars?) The food was excellent. The dessert was excellent. The cappuccinos were excellent. The service, the atmosphere - everything was perfect. And to top it all, the chef, Andrew, visited our table to enquire about our verdict. Thank you Katryn. You've won us back as loyal customers. We look forward to our next visit.

What a lovely tranquil rustic hidden gem. The food is superb the staff is extreamly friendly. Beautiful assortment of old furniture it surely feels like a step back into the past. There's also a safe playground for the little ones.
