Following an horrific accident, and multiple maxilla facial and plastic surgery operations, I went to see Dr Grundlingh about my teeth, or rather what was left of them. As soon as I met Ian, I immediately felt at ease with him and the plan that he proposed. Ian is extremely professional and a perfectionist. He has great vision and was able to explain in detail exactly what he was going to try & achieve for me. 14 months later I now have a beautiful new smile which I am incredibly proud of. Ian and his entire team have exceeded all my expectations.

I can't recommend Dr Grundlingh highly enough. I've had work done on my front teeth from the age of 16 when I had a diving accident. At the age of 50, I am finally happy - no, make that DELIGHTED, with my smile! What impressed me the most was Dr Grundlingh's attention to detail - measuring my gums and the size of my teeth painstakingly over the weeks and months to get everything perfectly aligned. I had to have a gum graft and a root removed which took time to heal. I appreciated Dr Grundlingh's soft touch - which took away a lot of the fear I've built up over the years after being in some rough hands. I am extremely grateful for the high standard of work and the gentle handling I received.

Dr Ian Grundlingh and his team went out of their way to accommodate my emergency when an old crown came loose. They solved my immediate problem and guided me through a proper implant process. The close relationship with Dr Emil Langenegger was also really convenient for me. I am truly happy with the end result and would recommend this practice to anyone.

After extensive “internet research” I consulted with Dr Grundlingh. I had a number of serious dental issues. It is now almost 9 months down the line. Not only is my dental issues sorted, but Dr Grundlingh has completely changed my appearance…. every smile is a smile of confidence, joy and gratitude. Throughout the many sessions in Dr Grundlingh's chair, I was always impressed by his extensive knowledge, professionalism and thoroughness. Every option was discussed, checked, double checked and checked again before the products were finalized. My biggest fear before embarking on this journey of dental reconstructing, was the discomfort (aka pain!) that I have learnt dental procedures to be accompanied with… but there was nothing! No pain! I cannot be more satisfied with the end result, and it all started from reading a review like this one!

I was referred to Dr Emil Langenegger by my long time Dental Hygienist Emma Coulter earlier this year in January (though I have been living in Johannesburg for the last 10 years, I still make it an annual visit to Cape Town, to see Emma for a regular check up, she is the best, great service always and following Dr Langenegger suggestions to remove my 4 wisdom tooths I want to say a huge thank you to him and his team as well as the nurses at Constantiaberg Mediclinic, was quite an experience, happy it's over now. Both Emma and Emil are highly recommended and will fly down anytime for professional check up. Thank you Miguel Chan
