Im not sure why they have a call centre to call the store, generally have to hold 9-20 minutes on a call to get an answer or be cut off. This can be extremely frustrating to deal with it makes no sense that you cant call a store directly. Besides that the store is clean service is generally good, contract applications are their weak point but if you are going to buy cash i doubt you will have any issues or experience any form of bad service. If you’re applying for a contract allow 72 hours to process and pray to God you have a consult who communicates and keeps you up to date if you don’t you may experience some frustration especially because you can’t call the store to find out the status of your application as you will be directed to a call centre and most likely wait 20 minutes before speaking to a consultant.

This place has improved over the years. Used to be awful, but is now okay. But just okay - not great. Unfortunately, iStore staff generally think they are doing customers a favour by doing the minimum to earn their salary. And that's a pity because the product itself isn't bad.

I had fun shopping at this sore this past Saturday. All iStores are particularly busy so I always dread a visit to one. I use online most of the time. Ilunga was very cool and helpful so for me excellent service deserves a 5 star. Yes all iStores need to think long and hard about their store sizes and the number of people they can accommodate at a point in time.

I saw a couple of bad reviews, so I felt I should weigh in with my exceptionally positive one. I arrived in Johannesburg from the States for 10 days of work. On the first day, my mac crashed. I went to the store with little hope of a solution, other than perhaps buying a new computer. The guys there worked for 3 hours on my machine - and stayed an hour past closing - to give me a workable solution. I found them extremely competent and willing to help. And the best part - when they were done, they honored my Apple Care and didn't charge me a single Rand. They really saved me.
