So, I know this review is kind of fashionably late, but I had to shout out Stephen for being so awesome with the customer service at this store. My phone was stolen on First Thursday, and to add to the drama, the thief was cancelling my sim swap. Stephen was brilliant though! He walked me through everything like a pro and listened to me babble on. He was really friendly, patient, and understanding of my situation as well. Stephen gets a solid 10/10. He deserves all the props for being an awesome employee! 🌟

I have been supporting this business from the time it was a small kiosk in the first development of the V&A almost 30 years ago and today was another confirmation that there is no need for me to go else where. The well informed sales consultant took me through my options and showed me how I would save about R400 while retaining my minutes and data with a better phone than the one I currently used. Terence was going on leave the next day. He knew I didn't really want to go to someone else and said he drops his wife at work and could meet me afterwards at the shop to facilitate. We'll... He went way way beyond facilitating. Terence wouldn't leave until everything was successfully transferred to my new phone including over 25 000 photos and the settings were the way I need them. This speaks volumes to the character of this young man and his passion. It also reflects positively on a business where staff turn over is low and they are willing to come in on their off day to assist. Thank you, thank you

Just saying......This guy was a dark horse ... cause when I entered the shop I had no idea who I was going to be dealing with. My consultant was Stephen. I have been a customer for years with Vodacom, and let me tell you, I was wondering how I was going to get served to fulfill my sim swop within the timing, as my taxi had rocked me up later then expected. Just in the nix of time. As every consultant was busy... I started to panic. I needed my sim swop in order to access my WhatsApp for my schedule. Stephen was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. He literally blew my mind when he executed all my demands within a sporadic mannerism. Never mind - how polite he was... besides my fears, he gave me a feeling of relaxation, also educating me along the way.. I must admit, I had never seen him before - as I had entered that store on numerous occasions and never seen his presence, I recognized he was new to the place. Within moments he sorted me out so fast that the person that was next me to me, who was before - Just left. I consider that service - and wish to give a HUGE recognition to Stephen (which is pronounced as Steven) - ( Just different spelling). I got it right as least when I asked him lol- Getting to know him in that short amount of time made me guess correctly - The spelling of his name, as I know they come in may different spellings. Needless to say this is why my review is - As it is - he was phenomenal and absolutely seamless to deal with. Please ask for him him. He is honest and deserved this review as I promised I would leave it. I sincerely hope that his employer knows exactly what kind of GEMSTAR they have on their hands. Thanks to Vodacom for hiring such an amazing representative and I with good will - in suggesting - he gets a promotion due to his respect not only for his customers, but his effort in his work as well.. I had my phone stolen recently in a smash and grab. Before going to the police station I went to the Vodacom V&AWaterfront store and the team there completely transformed by experience from someone who was a victim of theft to someone who felt warmth, kindness and the spirit of community. Olinka and her team immediately helped me purchase a new phone, advised me on the process after having a phone stolen, helped me with that and gifted me with a phone cover after a voucher came with the purchase. I spent a bit of time at the store while all of this was being done and I observed how each team member is able to call on another to assist them with whatever they are working on. True team work, customers never have to wait for long and just a really awesome vibe at the store. Thank you to the team at Vodacom V&A Waterfront. I will definitely choose your branch for my future tech purchases because of this.

I would just like to commend Austin Makhubu on the excellent service he provided to me today. Vodacom billed me an incorrect amount to my account and I have been trying to rectify this issue for more than two weeks now. I have spent numerous hours on the phone with the billing department and even more time in store (Tygervalley) trying to rectify this issue, but today Austin was the first person that was willing to take the time to listen and to help me. Not only was he incredibly professional and patient, he was also so kind and knowledgeable. He really made what has been a very unpleasant issue for the last two weeks bearable. Austin, it was an absolute pleasure to be helped by you today! To the management at the Vodacom store in the V&A Waterfront, you are lucky to have him and I can honestly say I really believe that he is an asset to your store!

I would normally not write reviews but I thought that the outstanding service that Austin has been providing deserves a note. I have been a customer of Vodacom since I came to SA 3.5 years ago and I was very lucky that Austin took charge of my first contract. Ever since, I have become a loyal client to Vodacom (3 additional contracts since - with Austin surely). I was first a Cellucity waterfront customer and when Austin moved to the Vodacom shop, I became the customer of the Vodacom shop. I can comfortably say it is among the highest quality customer relationship I have ever had. Austin takes real care of his customers, he goes to the last mile to solve their issues, keeps an amazing attitude all throughout, and always finds a way to solve their issues! He is also very smart and technically very competent. I have been referring friends to Vodacom and specifically to Austin. He is a true asset to the Vodacom organization.

We bought a data card here. The plans take some getting used to, you always get a lot of data for the period from 6 a.m. to midnight and then again the same for the period from midnight to 6 a.m. We paid R399 for two 5GBs. The staff were very friendly, the whole thing took maybe 10 minutes. Don't forget your ID.
