I. H. (.I rented a car from this branch of Avis, mainly because it was the closest to where I live. Everything ran smoothly from the checking in to returning the car.
The stand out was Hendrick, who showed me where my car was and sent me on my way. He was also there to receive the car when I dropped it off again and my interactions with Hendrick are what I’ll remember. He is a consummate gentleman!! He made me feel welcome and more than just a client. Hendrick treated me like a good friend. Thank you, Hendrick, you made my day!!

K. R.Easy pickup, polite service, decent car. If you are being dropped off by someone who will be checking the car with you, you can enter the Old Mutual parking on Rivonia or Stella Roads. Go to basement 3 for Avis. Don't forget to take both your driver's licence and passport (or ID document) with you. You will be required to load a smartphone app and fit a driving style monitoring transponder to the vehicle.
R. C.The Branch Supervisor on duty, Mr PJ Van Biljoen was EXCELLENT. I arrived with a big problem of my own making (left my wallet with Driver's License back in my hotel) and he went well out of his way to drive me to my hotel (just 5mins away by car, but a 3km walk at night) to fetch my Drivers License and take me back to his offices to collect my Avis Rental car. WOW! He must get promoted!

M. M.It is the most convenient car rental place because it is just across the Gautrain station. Whether you heading to PTA, OR Tambo or JHB this is the place that works better for me when I have to collect or dropoff a rented car.
