These guys are passionate and knowledgable about all things coffee. Its a great spot to work from, meet with friends and drink some interesting single origin coffees all of which have been specialty graded. The other up side is that they are open till 10pm Mon - Sat and until 3pm on Sun.

Finally a very decent espresso! We’ve tried about 10 places in and around Cape Town and other than The General Store, it’s been a disappointment all around! So finally - a good espresso!

Very roomy place, lots of different seating arrangements and opportunities. Staff very helpful and open for a nice chat. Various types of food, all nicely suggested with he matching choice of wine should that be your drink. A coffee roaster under the same roof offers some authentic coffees...

Wow. That’s all I have to say about this place. The coffee is incredible and seeing the amount of passion and dedication from the baristas is amazing. This is by far a must visit for locals and tourists alike.

Amazing place to have a nice coffee and breakfast ☕🍳. There is a nice shop with things made in South Africa wich you can buy as souvenir for your friends.

Excellent coffee. The baristas know their coffees. Some nice treats to accompany your coffee

Lee was quite knowledgeable and interesting to chat to. I must admit that espresso is not the way to go here, it is just a mouthful of acid, stick to the pour overs etc, or just have a flat white.
