During my short stay in Stellenbosch, Republique Coffee quickly became my go-to spot. If you are looking for specialty coffee, this is the place to visit. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for both relaxing and getting some work done. The staff always greeted me with a smile and made me feel at home. I highly recommend it to anyone local or visiting Stellenbosch!

The only real specialty coffee offering in town made on the best coffee equipment money can buy with the same precision and dedication you’ll find at any world class espresso bar. The baristas are super friendly and knowledgeable about the coffee they’re serving which makes the whole experience rather special. All their food is freshly prepared and locally sourced where possible. The toasted chicken for example is free range and only butter is used so it tastes amazing! If you’re looking for a great coffee experience this is it.

Love coming here for a coffee! The baristas are amazing. Chizél who works there is always there to greet with a smile and go the extra mile for customers. she also makes the best toasted sandwiches in my opinion!

What a lovely morning spent at Republique enjoying an incredible Vietnamese coffee and exquisite carrot cake slice baked with love by Jaidan Reyneke from the Test Kitchen. What a unique space, warm and friendly staff and delicious food and drink. I most certainly look forward to visiting again soon.
