Freaken yummy coffee wow. These guys do everything brilliant. Let’s open one in Cape Town. Wi-Fi is great. Customer service awesome. Look and feel pretty shweet.

Whenever I come to JHB for work trips this place is my first port of call . Perfect place for freelancers to hang out and get some work done, excellent food + coffee (like seriously amazing), excellent service, good wifi and it's also just nice to be surrounded by other creatives on the grind. Only point of feedback would be to get more plug points/ plug points that are built into the walls and not situated directly under the chairs because it makes it a mission to plug you devices in. That being said, it's quite entertaining watching the trendy, image-conscious hipsters squat down and rummage around for plug points....Actually, keep the plug points as they are. Would also be super cool if they organised networking events for local creatives/freelancers because they seem to constitute the majority of Father Coffee's clientele. Good place. 10/10 would recommend.

Enjoyed some of the most exceptional coffees I've had all year. I tried three of their single origin coffee as a batch brew, espresso and cortado. The service and recommendation from Antoine and Felix were fantastic. The hyper process high altitude Ethiopian coffee was very memorable.

I went for a slice of banana bread and was surprised to get it toasted and with sweet butter - very happy with the result however, really tasty! Long black coffee was good, but could have been stronger

Hands down the best coffee and brunch spot in Africa!!! Everything they do is with absolutely mastery! From the service to each detail, it’s superb!! We are regulars and can’t get enough of their amazing delicious food and coffee! Highly recommended!

Definitely amongst the best artisan coffee in Joburg and a nice vibe at the shop. I enjoyed working from there. If you enjoy a bit of bustle around you while you work you will too. Usually quite busy and can be hard to get a table.

From a coffee snob point of view it's amazing! Wifi and good music make it an ideal place to read or work. Ask for the hazelnut and honey cookie yum. I ordered a double flat white. My usual order. It was exquisite. My partner ordered a single latte with soy milk. It's tasty!

Great tasting speciality coffee on the edge of the Zone @Rosebank. Always nice to see the roasters in the shop and smell the freshly roasted beans. If you have time to savor a slow sipping coffee before hopping on the Gautrain, then this spot will do 😀.

Father fails to disappoint. Alwats find friendly staff ready to take care of your thirst or hunger. Coffee is great, you can buy the beans or the ground coffee as well. Tried the hot chocolate for the first time and it was great. They melt Lindt chocolate into their hot chocolate, yum. Give it a try. Also they have a well designed space which looks beautiful. If you're a coffee person, must try.

Great little coffee place, they make their own coffee on site and the baristas are incredibly well trained. Its small and cozy so not big enough for a group but great for bringing a friend for a cuppa.

What a nice little coffee shop in the heart of Braamfontein - good coffee. Nice place to meet with friends as it's right next to all the bars and restaurants. The interior is also really cool.

This is an Artisan Coffee Shop in the Rosebank Zone. If you're coming from the Airport via the Gautrain and passing through the Zone on your way to your hotel or BnB, it's the first one on your right, and very welcome too. The coffee is great - range and quality (although the servings are small-ish) - and while the cakes and pastry selection is limited they are all pretty tasty. I tend to go for the Apple Pie, but that's just me! There are pre-wrapped sandwhiches so you can grab a cup, sit down and take your weight off of your feet for a while. [October 10, 2016]
