A vibey place with friendly waiters and waitresses. The decor is new and fresh. We came for a few beers, a few rounds of playing slots and some food. I had a burger which was saucy and tasty and the chips are homemade and crispy. The rest had a butter chicken curry special which was also amazing at R55. I'm definitely coming back for another round!

This spot is mad insane, the autosphere, the waiters and people when rugby is playing is out of this world. I highly recommend it to anyone.

I have mixed feelings. This is a great place to go to to enjoy sporting events either alone or with friends. Good food and a good mix of people. Up until recently I've never had a bad experience when I dine in. Over the weekend however I tried to order x2 meals for pick up. This was a mistake as the waitress who answered the phone only took down half my information and quite obviously had trouble hearing me. She then handed me over to a second person who told me that they don't accept these orders as some people order food only to never come and collect. There was a whole debate which proceeded This, during which some time a 3rd person intervened on their side, taking control of the phone and conversation explaining to me that my order is possible and that I could come and collect within half an hour. I then arrive at the place 40mins later, only to find that my food hasn't been made and that they are still arguing about what it is I actually ordered. My partner and I then explained at length that we order x2 baskets, one meat and one chicken. Which turned into a debate itself. The chef disappeared into the kitchen to start preparing our food by then while the other waiters still squabled. We waited for our food an additional 40mins. Only for the chef to present the wrong food to us. We were patiently waiting even though I had another appointment after this to which we had to rush to be on time for. Basically: don't order over the phone, they don't like it and you will be disappointed. This is for dine-in customers only.

The definition of "Quality" is Fit for Purpose. The Lemon Tree fits the needs of every person who can no longer find an ACTUAL relaxed atmosphere pub and grill. You cannot drink in greater Randburg right now! Open reasonable hours, well stocked, great kitchen fare, efficient staff, notable sports memorabelia on display, several sports screens and the best specials to make things interesting. I cannot find anything north, east or west of here within 15kms (1 east - and then nothing). Well done.
