Absolutely gorgeous spot, a Parisian vibe , very picturesque. Friendly helpful staff. The most decadent patisserie I’ve tasted in South Africa! The toasted cheese and tomato croissant is an absolute must have for something savoury(ask them to please toast it for you ) For sweet the cream filled cronut superbly delicious and the almond Caramel cheesecake. Truly lovely coffee. A real gem in Cape Town . And Halaal ! A new favourite. Came 2 days in a row and I would every day if i lived in Ct.

This is by far my absolute favorite coffee shop. The home made breads and pastries are out of this world. And the ladies behind the counter are just the BEST!!

We were there on Monday morning at 7 am before my presentation at The Amy Foundation nearby. I have NEVER seen such a wide offering at a small bakery such as this one. My husband ordered a toasted cheese and tomato croissant which he said was delicious. He also had a coffee. We will be back soon to sample the cakes and I will order a juice. What a great foodie experience! We can't wait to go back. (We're from Somerset West.) Yesterday, 1 June 2024, we went back, this time to buy cakes. Wow, this bakery is SIMPLY THE BEST (in my world, without equal.) I chose a pasteis de nata, a pecan tart and a piece of cheesecake and all three were of the highest quality. Mouthwateringly delicious! I cannot wait to return to the best bakery I have ever encountered.

Lovely little cafe/patisserie. Lots of baked sweet and savory goods as well as coffee available. Delicious sourdough and ciabatta. Excellent prices. Hope to one day go again and try more things!

SHORT STORY: BUY THE TANDOORI SANDWICH! (THIS WAS TYPED IN CAPSLOCK BECAUSE I GET THAT EXCITED OVER IT!) Long story: When you daily make 6tons of soup, 300 hamburgers, 100 sandwiches and taste new product continually you tend to start thinking that nothing excites you and the food classics are the way to go. This isn't always true though, once in awhile you will stumble upon a well simple, respectably priced sandwich and go "WOW, This really made my day!". That is the Tandoori sandwich and I swear that sandwich will be so good you will land up buying the brownie, the unicorn macaroon, and some other products because they are all quality! This place knows what they are doing! The owner looks hard worked, sometimes exhausted but also packs a great smile during these times showing he is passionate about his business! I just want to say this is a role model shop! Last year I saw the owner sit on the stairs looking at the floor worried about his business and today it's a sell out shop where I struggle to get my favourite items on a Sunday! I'm inspired by this shop and I hope others are too. Thanks for the good food!
