I dont say this often but OMG!! The food was Incredible flavour. I had beef stew and Gail had hard chicken. The textures and spices were spot on. Sides for dipping had us drooling. Service was amazing. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is 1. The wine they had on menu that we wanted was not available and 2. Gail ordered off the menu and was then I formed it was not available. If specific foods or wines are not available that should be mentioned when the menus are given so there is no confusion. Loved it and recommend this place.

The only place I think of when I miss home. They offer a wide range of African indegenous meals. On the list is samp, tribe, trotters, cow and skaap Kop, vetkoek, chakalaka, chicken feet etc. Their meals always take me back to good old childhood days. I'm a African cuisine fan and I can tell when it isn't made the way it should, but PITSO'S always gets it right.

Afrobar &Pitso's kitchen offers a unique menu and that is not easily found in restaurants around Cape Town. The beauty in their offering is that many of us have fond memories of sharing this food with family in intimate moments or large family gatherings. Time has become a luxury and therefore being able to enjoy authentic African food in such a warm environment makes Afrobar& Pitso's kitchen a #HOME AWAY FROM HOME.
