Hanover bakery is a gem of an oasis !! The have pastries of all shapes and sizes, fresh oven buns cakes and confectionery!! I give them 12 out of 10. Make a turn at Hanover Bakery I promise you you will not be disappointed at all.

Much improved. Many years and still running well. They did have a change in ownership years back where quality took a dip, however, having paid them a visit recently after years, the quality of the Cakes are fresh, rolled with caramel dipped still as good as I remembered the original was, therefore, I would say they have in my opinion kept the standard nearly as good as the original founders. Really excellent quality cakes and bakes. We had a caramel croissant and also a caramel loaf. It was amazing. The caramel was perfect. We also had their pepper steak pies and the chicken and mushroom pie. Very good flavour and a nice portion for the affordable price. Their frozen Savoury range is perfect for Ramadan and all types of occasions where you didn't have the time to make your own. They also make cakes to order for all occasions and even allow your own design to personalize it. Great all round bakery

The spinach pies were very nice, the Chilli bites wasn't good. They now have Naan in the form rolls, that was new for me, fresh and tasty.

Hanover bakery is one of the best bakeries i have come across. In the heart of fordsburg/mayfair directly across mayfair jummah masjid this small family owned bakery makes some of the best delicious delights you have ever tasted

Well the place is not to shabby, could do with an up grade, in my opinion. There rak"s are, neat and tidy packed. And there cake 🎂🍰 and biscuits look good and delicious. But parking look"s like a problem, because it"s virtually in the street.

Well to start with my wife does work at this Bakery for more than 17 years. The place is very convenient especially for the community that surrounds it. Because of their good reputation they have managed to attract customers as far as Soweto and other locations around Johannesburg's metropolitan

Hanover street is a very busy street with both traffic and pedestrians. It's also among the popular bakery like Hanover bakery which is also opposite the biggest Mosque called Mayfair Jummah Masjid. I love this street ❤️😍😍. Please put it in your list to visit one day.
