The food is spectacular, we went for lunch and I couldn't recommend this place enough, the staff are super friendly and the place is stunning and we couldn't believe we hadn't gone sooner. It was incredible to watch through the window into the kitchen where all the pastries and bread were being freshly baked.

Delicious cappuccinos served in beautiful pottery cups. Their breakfast croissants are humongous and legit! They also have a nice selection of sweet pastries. I went there two days in a row and thoroughly enjoyed the vibe!

The staff are amazing and friendly, cosy place. Very busy so you can see it's a local hot spot. I was very tempted to try their croissants after seeing their post on insta... however I was underwhelmed. Will definitely try out other stuff on the menu though.

Had such a good time at the BakeHouse! The coffee and food was amazing! I had the steak roll 😍 and my friend had the eggs benedict. Loved the fries! There is wifi as well if you eed to work. We didn’t have pizza but they looked amazing!!! The staff is super friendly and helpful as well!

Very interesting bakery/coffee shop/restaurant. We only visited for coffee and pastries. The cappuccino was the best I have ever had. We had chocolate croissants and a custard slice. All of it was very tasty, although I would appreciate slightly more chocolate, but that is me.

Overall a nice experience. The café late was hot as requested, but a bit on the weak side. The place is beautiful and the pastries looks delicious. The waiters are a bit unfriendly, but not rude. Will definitely come back to eat.

Thoroughly enjoyed the cakes, fairly priced as well, one of the best bakers in Pretoria. Highly recommend it. My favourite so far is the almond croissant.

Food: the breakfast is great, although one should read carefully how the breakfasts are prepared and presented. Sometimes the meals do not meet expectations but are nonetheless appetising. Service: great service despite the restaurant being full of people. We were served continuously throughout the service and the waiters were very accommodating. Setting: the restaurant can be on the cramped side, especially when it is full. The restaurant however creates a good impression of a place of refuge from the busy street, but also has an openness to it. Parking is an issue. Be prepared to park a distance away and walk to the restaurant. If you like freshly baked goods that are expertly prepared, this is the place to come to in Pretoria, hands down (and thumbs up)!

Good service in Pretoria?! Is that possible?! Yes, apparently it is! Something simple as a omelette that is not good but, GREAT! What a surprise! I will definately see them again, soon!

A coffee bar and eatery with it's own bakery. How can we, not but support it? Just a small request. Just as we have smoke areas, or should I say no-smoke areas, could we have a non-music area? An area without any music speakers.

Look I might be a bit biast here because this has become my breakfast place of choice. As you walk in you are greated by a warm "coffee and fresh bread" look, smell and feel. Service is always professional and welcoming though a bit limited as I always sit for hours trying to get a waiters attention. But that said I thank you for making cold winter mornings bearable.

Visited the bake house on Sunday and had such a lovely experience, the staff were so helpful and friendly. What a lovely owner, he allowed us to sit inside when we were being rained on outside even though we didn’t order anything. Even gave the dogs a treat. Food is amazing too! Great place.

The most amazing wood fired pizza! My favourite is the first lady with parma ham and rocket. I also really enjoyed the Accountant with chorizo. And if you enjoy anchovies, olives and capers then the Family Man Pizza is awesome.

They serve delectable breakfasts and appear to be open quite early, perfect place to stop after an early morning bike ride or Jog. Coffee was fantastic as well as the atmosphere is very vibey!

A touch of Europe in the heart of Hazelwood. Great food, lovely pastries, friendly smiling staff. A great vibe all around.....and as my luck has it, I always manage to find a parking right outside the shop. By the way, do not leave without taking some pastel de nata with you.....you'll be coming back for more! 😋

The tea and service was good. The pastry on the other hand was really disappointing. I'm yet to give this place another try and the different pastries, but for now I was not too impressed. The pastry was a chocolate palmiere. Will definitely be coming back today
