We were referred to several panel beaters by our insurers and decided on John Morrison, given their positive online reviews. We were not disappointed. Yes, they are in Joburg CBD but it is easy to get to and their premises are immaculate. The sense we got was, they take pride in their work. Certificates up everywhere from pretty much every major brand. These guys have been around the block and they have proved themselves. It was busy. Lots of cars and people doing their thing. The reception staff are very friendly and both Melanie and Nikita are extremely professional and on the ball. Melanie took care of us on the drop off and was keen to ensure that my Mom and I were comfortable, as we signed their form and waited for Roger to come and inspect the vehicle. Roger took what seemed like 30 photos (from every angle) and we were sent a comprehensive quote. He was also friendly and professional. The quote came same day and looked very detailed. The insurers accepted it without any questions. Clearly they are well regarded in the industry. We took the car in and left it with them without any concerns (they have a secure garage and a team of capable drivers, with good supervision). We were later sent a link by SMS to a progress update page where we could see at what stage in the process they were. The replacement/repair was done within the given time frame (ten working days) and we collected the car today. Everything looked perfect. They were even able to polish out a few small scratches on other areas of the car and did a good job of cleaning the interior and exterior. The cleaning lady and gentleman tasked with polishing the other small scratches were likewise smiling and affable. No need to tell them anything, they are "old hands" at this. George supervised the handover and even saw that the car that dropped me off needed a bumper touch up, which he did out of goodwill. As I mentioned above, their premises are immaculate. The staff are trustworthy. Give them a go. We think you will be happy.

I must say that the repairs carried out on my car where very well done. I am very happy with with the quality of workmanship. I was very disappointed however with communication on the progress of the repairs and the day I could expect to get my car back. I received an email on the Monday telling me my car would be finished by that Friday, only to receive an SMS at about 9am Tuesday morning telling me my car was ready, this was after I had taken a rental for an extra day- an unnecessary added expense

Well they take their time fixing the car, but they did an excellent job, just have to give the car a proper thrashing around to see that they've done great on the mechanical part. Other than that can't complain.
