Books donated from the US can be collected for schools, libraries etc. A valuable initiative but be very selective when choosing for schools. Don't take textbooks (too American) and don't take multiple copies of a title. Unfortunately they receive very few books suitable for primary school libraries, but a good selection can be made for secondary school libraries, particulary novels and storybooks. A letter is needed from the orgisation/institution for which the books are collected. It needs to state that the books will not be sold

Wow wow wow. The ladies there are beyond friendly and so great at assisting. Got so many books for our street library in Sophiatown.
