My name is Maclain Michael Appadu and I am a patient of Doctor Nikesh Deveduthras. It is most pleasing to say that my family and I were left in awe of the levels of service that we had received from Dr. Dev and his secretary / personal assistant, Jolene. Jolene is a true gem and has been exceptional. From the very first call that she had made to me right to this day, she has been so kind, courteous and helpful. On my first visit to the rooms of Dr. N. Deveduthras, I was met with a warm and friendly secretary, Jolene, who showed such kindness and hospitality. To date, she has gone beyond the call of duty and assisted me with every request. Dr. Deveduthras has been an absolute star. From the very first visit, he has been exceptional. He took the time to assess me, to listen to me, to carefully examine me and to explain my condition to me. He took the time to explain the treatment plan, the options available to me, the pro’s and con’s and the best way forward. Dr. Deveduthras and Jolene always speak and carry themselves out in a professional manner but with the utmost kindness and courtesy which adds to their bedside manners. On the occasions that I was admitted, their bedside etiquette was beyond compare. They always checked in on me on a regular basis and made sure that I was comfortable. They were ever so ready to be of assistance to me. In all their tasks, they did it so efficiently and timeously with minimal or no inconvenience to me. In all my interactions with Dr. Dev, he has never rushed. He always took the time to help, explain and advise. Even on the day of the surgery, Dr. Dev came in early and spent a considerable amount of time with me. He spoke so reassuringly, explaining the process again to me and to ensure that I was totally comfortable. After my surgery, Jolene and Dr. Dev were amazing and incredible as usual. Dr. Dev and Jolene made sure that they kept in contact with my family, constantly updating them and reassuring them that all was well with me. Dr. Dev and Jolene visited very often, to check in on me and how I was doing. They took the time to follow up on me and they showed a genuine interest in me, my recovery and my wellbeing. I was further impressed when I received a call from Dr. Dev as he had shared his WhatsApp number with me. In this way, I have direct access to him. Dr. Dev always responds to every message at his earliest convenience. Dr. Dev. has always shown a genuine interest in my health and wellbeing. They have been extremely supportive and always encourage me on the road to recovery. I have never experienced service of this standard before. From my first visit to this day, Dr. Deveduthras and Jolene constantly remain phenomenal. I have been to many doctors over the years yet I have not seen a doctor and his receptionist show such dedication, compassion and care to a patient. It is said that actions speak louder than words. The actions of Dr. Dev and Jolene have shown me, far beyond any doubt, that they have a genuine interest of the patients at heart. It is with a very deep sense of gratitude and appreciation, from a grateful heart, that I say, THANK YOU, to Dr. Dev and Jolene for the phenomenal help, for all the kindness, care and compassion, understanding and patience, advice and hospitality that they have given to me. My first time there and I must say the staff and everyone in Capital hospital is very helpful and very nice. It's so neat and so clean. Just wish most of the other hospitals can follow Capital hospital.
