In the midst of the second wave, place was really busy but service was consistently professional and absolutely first rate. Staff friendly and accommodating. I had problems with internet connectivity for reference numbers when I was there but in all fairness this was not their fault. Would recommend!

The process: We called before going in and they advised we should rock up early before they start as it’s getting very hectic and it’s first come first serve basis. We got there 30 minutes before the testing site opened. The parking bays were already full and which acts like a queue. When parked in a parking bay, it took us roughly another 30 minutes to have a lady come to our car to take down our details and get an SMS sent to us with our details and reference number. Once we had the reference, we went to pay for the Covid Test. Took us about 10 minutes to do so. After payment was made, we got our proof of payment to be handed to the testing team of ladies who did the swabs (nasal/throat). This went quick and we could go afterwards. We were notified of our results via sms after roughly 12 hours even though the staff gave us the standard time period. Most people were in the car waiting until rhey received the same sms with the reference, so there were only a handful of people around you at any given time. The staff were helpful and professional. The whole process was quite pleasant and well organized, although you do worry whether someone is keeping tabs on which car came in first. Like everything else in SA, be prepared to wait. Otherwise it felt like a Meadowdale Nandos drive through, one way in and one way out. So if you’re stuck in the middle of the queue, you can’t get out. Hope it helps manages some expectations and shed some light on the process. Good luck and stay safe.
